buy one of these, better than trying with a screwdriver
If you have an old car that needs the drum brakes adjusted every so often, but one of these. Hard to find locally, but Amazon to the rescue. I struggled with a screwdriver forever, finally broke down and bought one of these. So happy that I finally did. Now adjusting is much easier - wish I would have had one of these all along.

Great tool!
I bought this when preparing to replace rear brake rotors, not knowing if I actually needed it. I'm really glad I did, because one of the old rotors was stuck and loosening the e-brake shoes with this tool helped me to remove it.

Good quality but not the most convenient for me
I originally got this for my f150 to adjust the brake shoes . This is a bit too big and awkward to use. I ended up just using a flathead screwdriver. But the quality of this seems super durable. I kept it to hopefully use it on another vehicle perhaps another purpose (this is kinda like a tiny crowbar)

Bought this over a PT spoon
I like this spoon it's heavy metal and seems to be high quality. It works well for adjusting shoes. My other brake spoon was longer and didn't have the proper angles like this one does. A little overpriced for a hunk of metal, but hey what can you do other than forge/make your own.

Easy fix and good price.
This little tool saved me $140 at the auto repair shop. They wanted to bleed my brakes (again) after I had already done it twice. Brake shoe adjustment was all I really needed. My 1957 T-Bird stops like it's supposed to. On a dime. . . . . or maybe a quarter. It is 4-wheel drum brakes.

Top quality compared to other choices.

Works really good on the 2016 Toyota Yaris NPC130R. I used to use a flat head screw driver to wind-in and adjust via the hole on the rear of the backplate. But because the hole is elongated, it was hard to know where the adjusting cog was. This tool makes it so much easier as they width of the spoon is just a touch shorter than the width of the hole and you get to the cog first try every time. It's quite solid and heavy so the quality is evident. Very happy with it!

Not a lot of drum brakes left but still a lot of park brake shoes that can be adjusted with this tool. Fits through the backing plate perfectly.
