Superdeck 1905 Transparent 350VOC Stain, Heart Redwood - Gallon

I have used many deckstains over the years which have not worked for me. A big waste of time and money. I finally found a product called "Superdeck transparent stain" that is easy to apply and lasts much longer than the previous brands I have used in the past. It is in my opinion that Superdeck stain is by far the best product to protect wood decks. The only and best product I have found to better protect my investment!

Used Superdeck transparent stain on large deck and dock. I followed the instructions and applied two coats. After less than one year it looked terrible and had to be sanded down to bare wood and stained again. The company rep admitted it looked bad but no adjustment. I will never use a Superdeck product again.

I've used Superdeck on fencing for 25 years and LOVE IT! I just recommended the product to a new neighbor and his 20+ year old fence looks new again! I told him that mine lasted 10 years on 2 northwest facing fences. My favorite stain color is the Heart Redwood due to the rich reds that are left on the fence. Very elegant looking. I've brushed and rolled and sprayed it. I think rolling it on is the fastest. Make sure and tarp off areas that you don't want drizzled with stain. I made that mistake actually and it dripped on some bullnose smooth brick that capped a retaining wall in front of the fence. I was kicking myself, but then I simply rolled the stain on the brick and to my surprise it turned out wonderfully! The bricks took on a rich 'heart redwood' look that appeared like I sealed them! So funny that it all worked out.So I'm really happy with this stuff. I have a new fence that I've waited till it dried out (the wood nowadays is SO wet) to stain. I'll be using this stuff to make it pop.Happy staining!

I agree with the previous reviewer: this is the best deckstain I've found. I used to buy those "five years guaranteed" stains, and they wouldn't last more than a year on our south-facing deck at more than a mile above sea level. This stain is good for two years, which at least keeps me from feeling like every time I turn around I need to work on the deck. FYI: I found this cheaper at Ace Hardware, and I was shocked. Amazon doesn't quite rule the world yet.
