QuickClip Pro Mil-Spec Kydex Eyelets GS 8-10, Brass Black Oxide 1/4" DIY Gun Holster Knife Sheath Grommets

I purchased Eyelets from TandyLeather and was told they would fit my 0.93 Kydex but they didn't. I did an amazon search and saw in the description of these they would fit two pieces of 0.93 Kydex. The seller giving such a good description won the bid. These shipped next day and while I split 3 of them ( due to me pounding too hard on the tool) the 10 that I did use after some practice came out perfect. These are strong eyelets as I needed to remove the ones that I split and they were a bear to remove with needle nose pliers. I was skeptical of using eyelets instead of Chicago screws, but they are very strong and I recommend them. I also received an email from the seller asking if they met my expectations, and if I needed anything to let them know. I am impressed. I gave it 4 stars because I think the price is a little high. The previous ones I purchased elsewhere were only $4-5 for 1/4'' but the length wasn't long enough for Kydex. I guess that's what happens when you purchased stuff from a leather store. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I am new to the world of kydex. So i have been doing ALOT of experimenting and racking up alot of new tools and equipment. I must have tried 6 other types of eyelets before finding these babies. They are STRONG. I set them by hand and i whack the crap out of them, not a single split. They CAN hold 3 sheets of 0.08" kydex and still crimp but i do 2 layers and just pound it down further, still no split, just a nice even roll. And they still had their finish after being beaten up. I wish they made these in the smaller 3/16" size with the same depth.

Given it's my fault for not making sure by asking but these do not come with the rings that are installed on the opposing side. Fit and finish is nice and the quality is quite good.

Good quality eyelets that didn’t split when installing, however the black coating completely disappeared. So, while the install was easy, I’m left with bare brass eyelets instead of subdued black.

Every single one split. Bad batch. I’ve never split a eyelet in my life until today and I had 10 in a row split.

I originally purchased the wrong size, but the fit and finish on these are great and hold up well.

This product is easy to install. Deforms consistently. Consistent color.

The coating comes off easily. I have tried using different pressures when setting the rivet however the coating still comes off. It doesn't flack off rather rubs off. Disappointed.
