Chinese 5 Color Ornamental Purple Pepper Premium Seed Packet + More

I could not get these to grow. Don't know why. Waste of money for me.

Don’t buy ... none of my seeds Germinated...... total waste of money

Really happy with these Chinese 5 Color Pepper Seeds!I bought these seeds last September (Sept 2020) and planted them about a week ago after joining a Peper In A Can Challenge FB group, today is March 29 2021. I had read a few bad reviews about this variety from Sherwood when I looked into buying them but I really wanted to try out this awesome looking variety and so I thought I would give them a shot regardless. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase 👍.All of the seeds that I started in coco coir have germinated. Still waiting on a couple that I started in a mixture of coco coir and hydroton but even one of those have broken the surface 2 days after the others and I’m putting that down to just nature and the natural order of things and maybe over-wetting the mix.Point is - don’t put all your eggs into one basket. Try a few different approaches to your seed starting with each batch of seeds that you buy because some will do better in one grow medium and others will fail. Temperature and humidity also play a big part in your success too so make sure you have some starting in different locations around your grow area or house. All of mine were started in my bathroom which obviously is a fairly humid and warm environment which I also think helps certain seeds.

I recently bought some of these and they arrived quick. It’s been about 2 weeks since planted and I have 5 sprouts one came out yesterday.

I planted 3 seeds and all three grew unfortunately about 2 weeks ago one was attacked (not sure by what) and I lost it but the other 2 are growing like weeds. They are so Dainty and cute. I just love them. They have little blooms and little peppers all over them. I can’t wait for them to start changing colors. I will try to remember to do an update then. Plus I have plenty of seats left over to grow more. And I fully intend to harvest the seeds from this year’s peppers as well. I’m so excited! This is so much better than I ever expected. And this is before I’ve even tasted my first one LOL

None of my seeds germinated.

I’ve gardened for a long time and grow my own plants from seeds. These have been the toughest to germinate. I’m now on my third attempt. Will update rating if I get to grow.
