After having L3/4 spinal fusion surgery I was looking for tools to make my life a lot easier. Socks and shoes are a major issue even 2 months post op. I bought this sock aid, and tried to cancel the order as I was sceptical about how it would perform. I tried to refuse delivery, couldn’t get to the door in time (obviously). Asked to return it as it was unopened and didn’t want it. Amazon Customer Services said they could not accept it back even unopened. Did to keep it and as I had tried to cancel the order, refunded me. Thought I would try the sock aid out and alas, it worked amazingly. Now I have Hobbit sized feet (very wide, lil bit hairy I guess!), but the sock aid was amazing. Not bending to put socks on at all. Yes, it was effectively free, but I can honestly say it’s the best support kit, I’ve not bought and tried to return, ever. Easy to use, makes me more independent, means my partner doesn’t have to help me and touch my feet (who would?!). Highly recommend!

Works well easy to use much better than other versions I’ve seen

I use the product to help me pull on my socks. The body of the product is very stiff, and the mouth end is too wide making it difficult to pull on woolen or non-elastic socks. Attaching synthetic or stretchable socks pull on easier. Handles robust and can fold easier into the cylinder. Recommend the manufacturer makes a narrower end to allow a full range of sock types to be pulled on more easily. I have tried a few other products and these comments notwithstanding find it robust and best one that I have tried.

I was a bit dubious when I bought this bit of kit as someone told me they were useless but......This is a fantastic bit of kit and I couldn't have coped without it following hip replacement. I have a little celebration every time my sock slips into place and I don't have to ask for anyone else's help. An ingenious device. It's easy to use too. Thankyou

These work very well if your feet are bone dry if you try to put your socks on using these aides when your feet are slightly damp after getting out of the shower you will find that you will be unable to as your feet stick to the plastic and all the pulling on the strings will not make it move.

There are imitations but the rubber pad is the key to the quality of the product and on some imitations the pad is too small and comes off easily
