Works with a Blackhawk Serpa Level 2 holster
This training aid is very close to the same size as the real thing. And it fits the holster better than a blue gun. BluGuns have narrow trigger guards that don't snap securely in Level 2 holsters. The Cold Steel rubber 1911 snaps into a Blackhawk Serpa level 2 holster firmly like the real thing. The only complaint I could have is that the Cold Steel rubber training aid is quite a bit lighter than a real pistol. If this becomes a problem, it's a simple matter to drill some holes in it and glue some lead weights inside. But on the other hand, light-weight is good for teaching firearm safety for newbies and kids to get them ready for the real thing. And light weight is also desirable for martial arts training. Most important is that this rubber gun feels and points like the real thing, and holsters like the real thing.

Realistic size and feel, except for the weight. A great training aid for personal defense.

Perfect training gun (same as the $50 blue ones)
I intended to order a training pistol that goes for $50 on Amazon, but this one came up, and I gave it a try. Perfect. Same gun, different color, half the cost.

Great for training self defense
The media could not be loaded. I use the pistol to train for self defense, great quality, very sturdy and durable. Would recommend.

Perfect Replica!
I used this to teach firearm safety. It is an exact match and very comfortable. Students have commented on how close to the real firearm this feels, the distance from grip to trigger, to the safety etc. Only difference is the weight of course. Excellent teaching product.

Quality for the price
It's in scale to my real 1911 and well detailed. Fits in my holster for training. Looks and feels unbreakable. Planning on getting more.

Good sights. Points and aims like the real thing
Will fit a holster designed for a railed 1911 government.Good sights. Points and aims like the real thing. Very detailed.Not too stiff, unlikely to hurt someone in disarm drills or light contact sparring.Very lightweight, so while it fits the hand, points, aims, etc like the real thing, doesn't handle exactly like the much heavier real pistol.If Cold Steel made more quality gun models at such affordable prices I would never even consider buying red or blue guns.
