Drain Genie DG-125 Drain Cleaning Adapter

I was skeptical at first when I found this product, but I figured...why not? Glad I ordered it because it totally works, cleared a long-standing slow drain in our upstairs tub, and I do mean cleared it. Highest recommendation.

Don't waste your money, there are better ways to unplug a drain.

For this price, it's a no-brainer to get one of these. If you've got a shop vac that can handle water, any time you've got a clog in your drain this should be your first stop. I have a 60-year old home and the bathtub drain wouldn't unclog. Used this and it was magic - amazing what had clogged up down there. Works like a charm now.

This thing is amazing! If you have a slow or clogged drain, it will clear it up. Just a warning: your whole house will smell awful and you won’t believe the disgusting gunk that comes out of the the drain. I cleaned out all of our sinks and both shower drains. It was super gross, but not one of my drains backs up anymore!

Worked well on one drain but didn't at all on the other. I suspect the other's plug was below the trap. Plunging did that trick.

used with a small shop vac. Works well for the bathroom sink. Still need to disassemble the stopper mechanism. So much easier than a regular snake well worth the cost.

The drain in our bathroom sink always ran slowly. I waited for a true clog before trying the Drain Genie. I couldn't believe how well it worked! No chemicals, no fumes -- I simply connected the Drain Genie to a shop vac, covered the overflow holes in the sink, and pulled years worth of hair and goop from the drain in just a few minutes! The drain runs like new. My dad will be amazed. I'm buying one for him now. This is one simple tool that no home should be without!
