Right out of the box I was satisfied with the quality. It's pretty hefty and well built. Its taken a fall but didn't break or chip. It has some weight to it but I feel like that balances the knife out. If you're looking for something sturdy this is an excellent choice. I'll definitely be getting another bead for my other knives!
