This looks to be an exact replacement for the blade on my Craftsman M320. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the blade being dull and not balanced or bent. Mine didn't suffer from any of those problems. Do note that the blade will come painted, this is to protect it in transit or storage. After even one use the paint will wear away and leave a perfectly sharpened edge. As for durability only time will tell but I'll be back to update if it's not good. However, I may sharpen the mulching portion of the blade because I like that to be very sharp, almost like a knife so it can mulch more effectively. The mulching portion is the curved part that is nearer the center. I did find it odd Amazon packed this loose in a box. I'm glad it didn't break out of the box.

The price. I've had the lawnmower for almost 7 years and NEVER replaced the spark plug nor air filter. The place where I usually go to have the blade sharpened closed due to people breaking into the place. They were some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with in my LIFETIME. What a shame when a few mess things up for everyone else. UPDATE 05-08-24 I cut the grass this morning before installing the NEW parts I ordered over a week ago and once installed I started the mower and it ran PERFECTLY. ALL OF THE REPLACEMENT PARTS FIT EXACTLY LIKE THE ORIGINAL.✌️ Thanks again for the early delivery.

I purchased this MTD mulching blade hoping it would be a reliable OEM replacement, but the results have been frustrating. The blade arrived with visible manufacturing imperfections—slightly warped along the edge—which caused noticeable vibration when mounted. During mowing, instead of producing a clean, finely chopped mulch layer, it left behind clumps and stragglers, even on dry grass. After only a few uses, the blade dulled rapidly despite normal residential use and no contact with debris or rocks. I also noticed the paint flaking off prematurely, which suggests a poor finish and questionable corrosion resistance. For a part marketed as "genuine," the craftsmanship falls well below expectations. I’ve since replaced it with an aftermarket option that outperforms it in every aspect.

As long as you have a breaker bar for your socket set then this is an easy install. Fit perfect and cuts well.

I purchased this replacement blade when the original blade began to show wear after three years of hard use. This replacement MTD blade is a good match to the original and thus far (after one mowing) appears to cut and mulch even better than the original. Great price, very easy to install (make sure to tighten fully to avoid any issues), and in my opinion, a better option than spending probably quite a bit more to have a blade professionally sharpened. Wasn't quite sure whether to order size based on the mower's cutting deck or the actual length of the old blade (which is a little shorter)--fortunately, going with the stated size of the cutting deck proved the right call. Very happy with this purchase.
