This coffee maker has many design flaws. I wanted to like it because it’s cute, but I suggest you move on. Here’s why. #1 - The machine itself is cheap, flimsy plastic. It has “shards” of plastic hanging off of it, and has a strong plastic odor. I had to run 5 pots of clean water through it before I dared to make the first pot. #2, The top that covers the water reservoir is so snug it takes 2 hands to open, and you must keep your hand on it, so it doesn’t shut automatically. It’s difficult to pour the water in the back of the pot with just one hand. Bad design. #3. Finally, The coffee is bitter. I think the filtering system is very minimal, and it doesn’t allow the grounds to be fully saturated. Stay away and purchase one of the known brands; Cuisinart, Braun, Mr. Coffee...

I love the look of the machine and the taste of my coffee. It's simple to operate. However, the lid doesn't open easily and doesn't stay open while pouring the water in.

I'm surprised at all of the good reviews. Because of the reviews I ordered this coffee maker thinking it was going to be great! Well, not for me. The clock is an issue. The timer feature doesn't distinguish AM from PM, even though it's a 24 hour clock. The clock also randomly resets - sometimes while it's in a brewing cycle, thus ending the cycle even though there is still water in the tank. So I returned it for a replacement. The replacement had the same exact issues!! Two in a row!! So putting this review out there to warn others of this defect. As mentioned it is a random issue. For the pots that did brew without issue, the coffee tasted good. For me, it's too overpriced to have these issues, and I want a timer feature that I can rely on.

I dislike the fact that to pure water into the water tank I have to keep the cover open with one hand and pure water with the other. Also, it is tedious to set up a timer as one has to keep pressing the buttons and each time you do so it changes by one minute so if you want to change the timer from 11:00 to 11:59, you need to press it 59 times!!!

I am very happy with my new coffeemaker. Not only that, I am still amazed at how fast it got here.I like the color and style ,It's very fashion.And the 12-cup is in fact a 6-big-cups. It flows in a record time, and the coffee is hot and good. It's easy to prepare, and the whole thing is small enough to be put on the counter without taking all the room. I love it!

I completely regret not buying the other option I looked at. First the program never worked I made sure the time was right and it always turned on in the evening. Then today I brewed a pot and it wouldn’t turn off! There are no lights on but it’s plugged in and it just keeps brewing or spitting water if the top is open. Although the water ran out the hot plate stayed on all day when I was at work but the on light wasn’t on. When I try turning it on and back off to see if it will turn off the light just blinks. This thing is so messed up. Before this happened I didn’t like it because the lid doesn’t stay up and I like to dry it out and also not easy to hold it up while putting coffee in. Also, the pot has an opening where steam hits your hand when you pour it. I bought this based on reviews and I just don’t get it, I really dislike it.

I like the coffee maker. What I dislike is the top. It is hard to open because the tabs are small and once open will not stay open on it own. The coffee operation, filter and timer aregreat

I went by the reviews when I purchased this and couldn’t believe how highly rated it was. It is basically a plastic cube that is cheaply made. It is not worth the money for what you get. I will be returning and going back to cuisanart.

The product description said silver, but it came in white and it was supposed to be 12-cup, but was actually only a 10-cup.

I just received my new coffee machine from the discription and reviews I think I'll yay a good product. WRONG . IT LEAKS , THE LID WARPS WHEN HEATING , FILLING CAUSES A FLOOD. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET SOMETHING ELSE. I WILL BE RETURNING THIS RIGHT AWAY. It does look good however . If you are looking for a counter ornament or something for an open house you can't go wrong but for practical purposes it's junk .
