Fit my monitor perfectly and I was able to put it on the desk mount.

Works as intended. Easy to setup and to use

I wanted to mount a monitor (Acer) that turns out wasn't designed to be mounted. It was disappointing to see that I'd have to buy a new monitor, and I really didn't want to/couldn't justify spending the money when the one I had was perfectly fine other than the mount.When I found this attachment by Vivo, I was so hopeful and excited that it would work. And it does beautifully. The only thing I would mention is that when taking it off or the original monitor attachment off, the metal edge is very sharp and requires a blunt force to push it out of the base. It can cut you if you are not careful.My monitor is the Acer R240HY if it helps anyone.

I purchased two of these adapter to mount Viewsonic VX2776-smhd monitors to a new Vivo dual-monitor mount. (Interestingly the two adapters together cost more than the Vivo mount they are adapting).The adapters slid in easily and appear to provide a secure fit to the monitor, though I did not hear the 'snap' the instruction manual indicated I would hear on either adapter install.When I attached the first monitor adapter to the Vivo mount, the monitor fell off. The issue appears to be the screws fit snugly on the adapter plate, though are smaller than the Vivo mount plate, so when screwing in the provided screws it felt like there was a secure threading, but they were only threading the adapter. (I tried the alternate holes in the Vivo mount plates after that and had the same issue). A run to the hardware store to pick-up eight (four for each monitor adapter) 8-32 coarse wing nuts solved the problem. They really should have included the nuts with the adapter.Understandably, with the adapter now in place, I found the monitors would easily tilt forward (as the Viewsonic monitors mount at the bottom, making the setup top-heavy), not a knock on the adapter - as is meant to be the case, tightening the y-axis tension bolt on the mount solved for that. Just need to have that allen wrench handy when mounting.Putting aside the setup hiccups, the adapter appears to working on its first day of use.

Quality item that I'd buy again!

Wanted to hang some Acer monitors on a nice VESA array I was given and this did the trick. Love the thumb screws so you don't have to fuss with a screwdriver. Ordered a second time because this is helping me replace heavy old Dell hand-me-downs with nice light more modern monitors.

A friend gave me a dual-monitor mount and I quickly attached it to my desk and mounted on of my monitors. But then I noticed my second monitor didn't have the required VESA mounting holes and I was sad. But a quick search for an adapter and up popped this product.It looked like it would work, but also seemed like it might be flimsy - like the monitor wouldn't feel as solidly mounted as the one with the built-in mounting system. To be honest, it doesn't feel quite as solid, but the difference is very, very slight. It has as much to do with the different weight of the monitors as it does with the mounting system.If you find yourself in a similar situation, I definitely recommend ordering this adapter. It works great!

I was nervous and scared thinking that I made a mistake and bought something that doesn't fit my monitor. Well, this time, the Vivo adapter fit and the installation was so simple. No tools were needed or used.I always try to make my home more efficient with the growing needs for technology.What I searched for was actually what I needed to fit my computer monitor mount and for this I am truly grateful.
