INVELLOP iPad Mini case, Navy Blue Leatherette Case Cover for Apple iPad Mini/iPad Mini 2 / iPad Mini 3 (Navy Blue)

So my Khomo case cracked in several places and I initially replaced it with the Targus SafeFit case. I did not like the SafeFit case very much tho (too bulky, a strap instead of magnets to keep it closed, and a bit of a dust magnet), so I returned it and ordered this one. I am soooo glad I did. This case is awesome!!! It offers decent protection while looking classy and keeping a slim profile. The materials are very high quality and it feels amazing in the hands. The stand works very well in both the video watching and typing positons. I love that it has magnets in the back that keep the cover from flopping around when I am holding the iPad with one hand. The one negative thing I have encountered was that a one corner of the inside lining of the case started to peel off. I was able to glue it down and have not had any problems with that since, except for a small dark spot where I glued it, which is not a big deal since its on the inside of the case. Overall I would give this case 4.5 out of 5 stars. If you are looking a much cheaper but just as good or even better alternative to the Apple smart case ($69), or just for a great case for your iPad Mini 2 or 3, or even 1, look no further. This one is as good a value as you will find.

This is the 3rd Invellop case I've bought. One for my old iPad 3, one for my wife's 1st gen iPad mini, and now one for my new Retina iPad mini. I've been very satisfied with the Invellop cases and this one is no exception. It fits snugly around the mini front and back, and doesn't add a lot of weight or bulk. It also adds grip, which I needed because the mini felt so slippery. Much more confident when I pick it up now.The front cover folds up nicely into a stand for both upright and lay down positions, and lays flat and stays closed with the strong built-in magnets. The microfiber lining does help to clean the screen except where the folds are. Be careful to keep the lining clean because any dirt or grit it picks up will rub on your screen. This new version is a little thicker than the one on my wife's 1st mini, but not so thick as to be bulky. Adds a bit more protection. The buttons are a little more recessed because of the slight extra thickness, but still accessible. The cutouts for the buttons, ports, mics and camera are accurately placed and sizable enough to allow free access. The imitation leather material feels and looks good. Much nicer than you'd expect for the price.I recommend these cases highly and didn't even look seriously at others before ordering it. I just had to wait until they came into stock. It was worth it, especially to get a different color from my wife's cover. Important now that we both have minis. :-)

I had this case for the first-gen iPad Mini and loved it. I just got the Mini Retina yesterday and the Invellop case came today. This case is even better than the one for the first-gen Mini. It fits perfectly, and changes have been made in the design to make it hold the Mini more securely, yet it's still easy to put on and take off. The inside lining is slightly "nappier" than the case for the first-gen Mini, and this gives it a better feel and grip. It almost feels like suede. The outside leatherette looks great, feels great, and has good grip. All the cutouts are there and perfectly aligned. The typing and viewing positions work great. The cover still closes securely over the screen with strong magnets, and the sleep/wake works perfectly. The best feature of this case is one that other case companies should adopt - The cover magnetically sticks to the case bottom when folded underneath. I love to read books and magazines on my Mini, and this feature makes reading so much more comfortable. The most amazing part of the case is the value. Invellop has created another superb case at a very reasonable price.Additional comment - After using the case for a while, the added weight of this case is noticeable, compared to a naked iPad Mini Retina. I would still give it 5 stars, but it's not the lightest case around.

Inexpensive plastic, protects but not impressive if you care about the appearance.

I've now had this Invellop iPad mini w/ retina case for six months - and I love it! I tried two more expensive cases before buying this one. They weren't at all satisfactory as they were bulky, difficult to hold with the cover open and didn't protect all of the iPad mini's surfaces well, and . The Invellop case completely fits the bill: it's lightweight, extremely well-made, has an assuringly snug fit, fully protects all the iPad mini's surfaces, and is easy to hold with the cover open. The cover's magnets do a good job of securely hold the cover closed, open and wrapped behind the iPad, and in several different stand positions. Best of all, the price of the Invellop case is fantastic! Don't let its surprisingly low price turn you off because the quality of this case is exceptional. Highly recommended!

This should be a good design but it's a big disappointment. I paid 24.95 it should be better!!! The iPad Mini will not stay snapped in the case. All along the long side where the volume buttons are it does not snap over the pad and just falls off while reading. I own other Invellop cases that are fine. No magnets in the tri-folding cover so that too falls away from the iPad and will not stay folded to support the pad on a desk when you pick it up to move it. So sad it's a great feel, I will send this one back

Bought this as a gift for my fiance, as a replacement case for her iPad Mini 2. It's a really nice case; however the fit is just off. The full bezel of the device is exposed, and the corners did not make me feel secure. It was bought at Christmas so there is no option to return it, so I'll donate it to Goodwill.
