Tim Drake's second go
I gave this a 4 mainly because my mailman tossed the package it was in and the book got damaged :( Other than that great read on early Tim Drake Robin adventures. My fav highlight is Joker's wild. The fact Joker doesn't get its a new person and keeps thinking Jason Todd was funny.

A thick 2nd collection of Tim Drake's Robin
This is the second volume of the original adventures of Tim Drake's Robin first published in 1991 to 1993. Although the price has gone up from the first volume , this second volume collects three more comics then the first collection for a whopping fourteen comics and 360 pages. Collected is Batman #465 and Batman #467 to #469 plus the four issue Robin II mini-series and the six issue Robin III mini-series. All printed on slick glossy paper with stiff a stiff cardboard cover with square binding. It includes all the original covers many by the talented Mike Zeck. And since this was the 90's all the Alternative covers plus a former original trade cover are all included in a back section eleven page gallery. The first story is by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle , but the other 13 issues are all the work of "Robin Team Supreme" Chuck Dixon and Tom Lyle. Both these creators emerged from Eclipse Comics Indy talent pool in the 80's and drifted to DC. Chuck Dixon is the master of the well plotted action story which he continues to excell at today. Tom Lyle probably never got the fanfare he deserved for his crisp clean pencils which had more then a hint of that Neal Adams influence. Batman #465 by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle is titled "Debut" and is Tim Drake's first costumed team-up with Batman and follows directly after the first Robin mini-series traded last year. Batman #467 to # 469 is a direct follow up to that above mentioned mini-series with the same creators even Chuck Dixon and Tom Lyle. The villains from Robin mini-series also return including Lynx and the presumed to be dead King Snake. We see some conflict develop between the over protective Bruce and the newest Robin. Next is the four part Robin II mini-series. This time the Joker has escaped and he throws Gotham City into chaos by controlling the Internet. He demands a Billion Dollar ransom to be delivered by the Batman. Dixon really develops the relationship between Alfred and Tim here as Alfred is integral to every mission. The final six issue min-series is the best. In Robin III Dixon has more space to develop Tim's home life as Tim's father returns. He wants to control Tim and he wants explanations for Tim's bruises. We get to spend time with Tim's friends and see his school life. Tim also gets a love interest in the form of Russian girl Ariana Dzerchenko. The main story features a six issue team up with the Huntress and Tim and they have a very different dynamic then when teamed with Batman. The story has three waring factions all out to defeat each other. On one side is Robin and the Huntress. On another is the returning Lynx and King Snake. While on the final side is KGBeast and the Russian mob. It should be mentioned that Tom Lyle only did layouts on the sixth issue and Grant Miehm finished the pencils. It really still looked almost the same as Lyle's solo work. These stories are all almost 25 years old but still pack a lot of fun and enjoyment. I look forward to the third Tim Drake collection. My Highest Recommendation.

Tim Drake and Huntress Make an Awesome Team!
I really dig Tim Drake's adventures. Here you see him duke it out with King Snake (who's blood thirsty as crud for revenge), fights ALONE against the Joker and Teams up with Huntress to defeat a crazed mob. I loved all the whole graphic novel! I feel like this is where Tim Drake really proves himself as a more than capable Robin. I gotta say-the emotion is really here. The writer(s) did an incredible job portraying the Joker as a 'horrifying' entity for the next-in-line Robin. Joker seeing Tim Drake and screaming, "I KILLED YOU...!" gave me chills. I couldn't help but really feel for Tim as he's constantly putting himself through self doubt by comparing himself to the previous Robins and fearing for his life, yet still being able to throw it all away to protect Gotham. The Joker arc is just fantastic. My favorite arc was when Tim Drake teamed up with Huntress. Their banter towards each other had me chuckle a few times; They're a mismatched pair, but they work perfectly together. Huntress keeps poking at the fact that Tim is just a kid, while Tim uses his genius to get the best of Huntress. Their relationship is fantastic. Their adventures are just pure awesome. Don't pass up on this read. :)
