The locks work fine , however the numbers can be difficult to see. I actually painted mine a bright yellow.

I made a mistake when opening the locks and the seller was ready to rectify the issue immediately, even though the problem I was having was my fault. (my husband had set the combinations without my knowledge!) The locks are perfect for using on my gym locker and work great. Thank you!!

I was fortunate. I thought I followed the instructions correctly, but when I attempted to unlock the lock, I couldn't. I then rotated the top dial one notch and, mirabile dictu, it worked just fine. The combination was not what I intended, but fortunately I can still remember it. So, the product is fine.
