Q-Workshop D20 Level Counter Green & White Die

Looks great and easy to read!

The media could not be loaded.  This is an excellent counter die from Q-Workshop. It's big - close to an inch and a quarter wide. I really like the design, which includes small arrows that show you were the next number down is. Note that it's best used as a counter, not as a random number generator, since all of the high numbers are on one side, and the low numbers are on the other side (a normal d20 die used for random numbers would have opposite sides adding up to 21 and the distribution of highs and lows more evenly spaced so it would be harder to force the die to land with a high number facing up). Still, if you gave it a really good roll, it would still be pretty random - your game-master just might not allow it. But used as a counter (I'll be using it to track the number of rounds that a spell is in effect in D&D), it's perfect. Very nice color and feel, and the numbers are quite big and readable.

I collect dice for fun & randomness, not for RPG. Aparently to RPGers it matters where the numbers are, making this die different from a gaming D20, which is why it's called a "counter" (whatever that is 😉). But for me, it is what I expected - a 20 sided die in a nice shade of green with fun patterns on it.

Excellent looking and feeling, well-weighted, and easy to read. However, be clear, this is a COUNTER, not a true D20. The numbers are neither randomized nor opposed. In other words, all the low numbers are on one hemisphere with all the high numbers on the other side, with the median numbers along the middle. In addition, the opposite numbers are not on opposite sides as on a standard D20. Normally, 1 would be opposite of 20, 2 of 19, 3 of 18, so on and so forth, but the numbers are not set out like that on this die. I didn't realize a counter was different than a true D20 when I ordered it, so that's on me. Like I said, it's an excellent piece for what it is, but if you want a true D20, look for another item.

I just love collecting color dice and I never knew about dice with more than 6 sides on them and different sizes that they come in.

The dice are hard to read.

This thing is huge! Probably three times the size of a typical magic life counter. Made just like any other die I have seen.

Very nice design, great looking, but it is far bigger than I've expected, rather not for usual board game play, but might work for RPG session.

A nice big chunky dice, just perfect. Noticeably bigger than a regular D20 but still fits in a pocket.

Il dado è di matariale resistente e ben fatto, le facce sono stampate e ben leggibili, nonostante siano stampate e non incise non ho visto deterioramento nella stampa quindi li reputo durevoli nel tempo. Unica nota è la disposizione dei numeri sulle facce, tutti i dadi che uso hanno il 20 opposto all 1, questo non viene rispecchiato in questo dado. Per il resto sono soddisfatto e la dimensione del dado è piacevole.
