Rapid 5080e Professional Electric Cartridge Stapler, 90 Sheet Capacity, Black, Includes 1 Cartridge with 5000 Staples (90147)

Our company has used Swingline for decades. They once made very good staplers, but over the past years quality has dropped off to the point I had to find a new solution for staplers. I started buying the Rapid 5080 a year and a half ago and I have never had any issues. I currently have seven 5080s and I am back on Amazon to buy three more. I have not had any of the 5080s jam, double staple, or stop stapling. They also easily staple 80 pages; we staple allot of pages to thick cardboard backers, the stapler never slows down, binds or crumples staples, like the Swinglines do. And is is very quiet too! It is an awesome machine. I also love the fact that most of the critical moving parts are replace each time the staple cartridge is replaced, this should lead to a long and happy stapler life.

We staple. A lot. Our A/P person has gone through about 3 staplers in the past year (that we originally thought were decent because they were labeled 'heavy duty' automatic staplers). They were not. When asked if I could order her a new one, I looked for one on Amazon and came across this one. I was a bit apprehensive because it is a smidge pricey, but if it works, even if we have to replace it in a year, it's still less expensive than the total amount that we have spent on other ones. Anyhow, we bought it, and it works great. She uses it constantly and it's wonderful. I've ordered an extra staple refill just to have on hand. The staples are not the 'Super Heavy Duty' ones that you need a crowbar and salty language to remove if needed, but go right through the stack of papers effortlessly. We'd buy this again for sure!!

Started jamming after 5 months use. Got a replacement from the company, and misfired straight out of the box. Had it for a week, hoping it was a fluke. Nope ... jams and misfires continually. Will be returning for a refund this time.

This is a great stapler for any office that's needs to staple large packets of paper together. We needed an electric stapler that would staple over 70 pages together and this one works great. It's quiet and the staples lay flat. My main problem with it is there is no guide to show you where to line up the paper edge, so it's real trial and error to find out where it puts the staple. I had to add a label vertically to the front so we would know where to line up the paper. This is not meant for only a couple of sheets of paper either, it will crimp the paper if you only do a couple pages. This is a heavy-duty beast that staples 50-90 pages with ease. Lifesaver for our CPA office.

I ordered a second stapler so I could have one at my home office. I saw an incredible deal on a used one so I bought it. When I fired it up, it didn't work. I messed around with it and couldn't get it to work. I put a different staples cartridge in it and it worked fine. I think that someone must have bought it and returned it thinking that it wasn't working right. So I got a deal but had to provide a new staples cartridge. These are the best electric staplers that I have ever owned. They are quiet and work equally fine on two page or 90 page documents. Expensive (normally) but you won't be sorry that you bought it!!!

I ordered this stapler to replace an old one that quit working in our office. After reading many reviews of different brands, I chose the Rapid 5080e because of its stapling capacity and reliability. So far this stapler has been great, and is used daily. It is easy to use, is easily adjusted, isn't loud, and staples thick documents with no problem. The cartridge is very easy to change when it runs out---which will be a long time from now, as it has 5,000 staples in each cartridge. All in our office agree that this was a good purchase.

Had an old model and finally stopped working . I replaced it with this new electric stapler. Works like a gem. Delivery was quick. Well wrapped for delivery. Perfect!!!

I have rarely been so pleased with a product or a seller. This stapler is fantastic! Smooth, quiet operation. Handles 70-80 page books without flinching. Worth every penny in a busy accountant's office (during tax season). We bought 2 and will likely buy more. And the ice cream on the cake...they arrived 4 days AHEAD of schedule! If I could give this product and this seller 10 stars, I would. Thank you, thank you.
