A good learning tool
I found this book approaches rigging math from a different angle, and it's wording is more accessible than other books of it's kind. There are however, some typos and inconsistencies that keep me from giving it 5 stars. I would reccomend this as a good accompaniment to the rigging books by Donovan and Glerum.

Great book
This book was very useful for learning rigging math. It is much easier to understand than the textbook assigned for my rigging class. The only downside is that the workbook that accompanies this book has several mistakes in the answer keys.

long time
It has been over 30 years since I have used algebraic type of calculations, and I wasn't too fond of it back then either. This book explains it very well, plus applying the formulas to the rigging experience I have, the math makes more sense to me than it ever did. Money well spent. I thank you Mr. Hall for writing it.

The title says it all.
Finally a rigging manual that explains the math in a way that is clear and easy to understand. Rigging Math Made Simple is loaded with diagrams, formula explanations and work sheets to really help you learn the math needed to be an effective rigger. This manual is a must have for anyone studying for the ETCP rigging exams. And for only $20!

Informative and useful background for ETCP electricians exam.
Very informative book. The only thing I didn't like was the confusing and unnecessary reference to some particular scientific calculator. The math is simple arithmatic in any case. The important part is to understand the principles.

The Book arrived just when I expected it. This book is great especially for those who aren't that great with math in general...It breaks everything down in a way you can understand and not be intimidated by Large Equations! Excellent Book! I would reccommend it to ALL!!

Need some knowledge already
A reasonable introduction to the field. Assumes some existing knowledge of component names in some chapters though easy enough to look these up online. Not a fan of the notation used in the calculations but clear enough diagrams and answers at the back to practice exercises.
