2 Pack - Twice Upon A Time: Twins Memory Books

I bought these books for my twin boys before they were born and wasn't sure how I was going to like them. My boys just turned 1 year and I can tell you that I LOVE these books! They are perfect for twin moms who don't have a lot of time filling in and coming up with random things to put in baby books. They ask specific questions to answer and leave you just enough room to elaborate if you end up with some spare time during naps. They are super cute and I can't wait to read them back to the boys as they get older. I already look through the early pages time and time again to relive those first days, weeks, and months...

I could not be happier with these books. This is a MUST for a twin mom (or dad!) who wants to commemorate their twins' early experiences. My mom bought these for me (after countless searching for twin baby books that just didn't cut it). There is a section for pregnancy experience, the things they had in common ("This is Two") and a section for JUST that twin (hence the reason for two books). Some could say it's tedious to repeat the same information in the earlier parts BUT I think that is short sided as each twin deserves his or her own book. This is the perfect blend of keeping some things the same (i.e. the shared details...each in it's own book but it will likely be the same information repeated) and having something individually for each twin (the section dedicated to each individual twin). I cannot rave enough. If you have twins, or are going to a twin baby shower, GET THESE BOOKS. It has a cute little story theme throughout it; I get teary whenever I read it. I am not super duper girly or crafty, but these books bring me so much enjoyment. They capture the important information, give plenty of space to write as much (or as little) as you want, and plenty of room for pictures/keepsakes, but not so much as to be overwhelming or create unrealistic expectations. You've probably stopped reading by now but hopefully you have ordered these books! You will not be disappointed.

Being the only thing I've found specific for twins, these books are cute. Honestly, though, now that they're here I probably would have skipped them and gone for 2 of some version of a larger, more scrap-book like thing. The thing I like is that these read like a cute story book, and I'm sure kids will get a kick out of having it read to them one day. They are also reasonably comprehensive in terms of what information it prompts for. The thing I don't like is how conservative-white-traditional-couple they are. Cartoons of mom and dad could have a been made a bit more ambiguous as to race without detracting at all (heck, just give them brown hair and immediately they could be white OR several other races), and sticking obvious picture of wedding and all is just a bit hokey. Also I'm missing the options to save hair locks, hospital bracelets, and other things that I would have gotten from going from a larger, more standard baby journal. So, if I could go back, I might not buy these again. But I like them enough that I won't be sending them back and we will use them. I'll probably just do one big family scrapbook to add the things that were missing.

This is great as gift or if you are expecting twins.

Great books! The only problem was that a lot of the reviews said that you needed to buy two of these so that you would have one for each twin. The description at the time of purchase was not definitive so I ordered 2 books. I guess the seller changed the packaging and now sends 2 books per order. (Makes the most sense) So I now have 4 books. Not a problem - will be returning two. These are adorable and perfect for the momma of twins!!

I love, love, love this book! I have horrible pregnancy carpel tunnel and I can't write for any length of time. This book is quick to fill out the information yet sweet, humorous, and detailed. Most of the questions are in a check box format or a quick fill in the blank so it saves you a ton of writing time and what to say. If you want a book that allows you write every single detail of your twins lives, then this is not the book for you. But, if you know you will just be too busy and too tired to fill out 2 books, then it's perfect. If I ever know of someone else having twins, I would definitely buy these books again to give them as a baby gift.

So beautiful!!! Just like a child's book. I love that two came in a pack. I spent a lot of time researching twin baby books with a section during pregnancy. I had a really difficult time finding one that was gender neutral or that even addressed how you found out and pictures for sonograms. The books are very high quality and I love the artwork. I would highly recommend this product for anyone expecting TWINS!!

Great baby books for twins. I had been looking for months trying to find a good deal. I knew I had to buy 2 and spending $30-$50 per book just seemed outrageous. I saw these and had kept them in my cart for a couple months while I searched stores and online. I purchased them in the end mostly because of the cost effectiveness of it. I was a little skeptical about them because they were so cheap though. After a couple weeks of having I already have all the pre-baby info filled out on both of them. They are simple and cute which is just what I need. The format makes it easy to fill in the information. And with 2 babies on the way and a 4 year old convenience is my best friend. I would recommend these for anyone expecting twins.

I was expecting 2 books... Considering it is a set of books for TWINS. I know have one book for one of my twins and I have to try and find another.... They usually come in sets of two, and it should have been more clearly outlined that it was only one if the two books I would need. I was not happy when I only got one...

I have twins myself but bought this for my cousin's twins. It's a really nice book but a little 'American' in it's wording. Don't let this put you off though. Still a lovely gift for twins. My only reason for not getting one myself was I prefer to keep 2 individual books so I can give them one each when they are older.

Great book but really really american, wouldnt normally bother me but i had different ones for both my sons and loved filling them in. this was a gift for a friend, quite diappointed. Although it not to say someone else may love it!!

I thought it would be a great gift for twins...but you need to buy 2 of them!!! I am very disappointed... The first part of the book it is indeed for both of them, but the second half is dedicated to ONLY one of the twins. If the publisher would have made another identical separate second half for the other twin too, it would have gotten my 5 stars, because it's a nice memory book, with nice pictures. But because it is dedicated to twins but only one of them can get this book, I give it one star. The whole idea was to get one album for both babies....
