Bitt boy an absolute blast from the past
I looked at a lot of you tube videos trying to find the cheapest and best handheld for playing games from my childhood I could have gone with a modded psp or psp vita I could have gone with a r4 ds or 3ds but I wanted to go a different route I found tons of videos on the entire bitt boy line of handhelds as well as many other brands of gaming handheld like rg350 and others I decided to get the entire line of bitt boy handhelds after some time with the original bitt ( partially due to the look of the original gameboy) boy in 3.5 variant it plays so much more than I thought originally it plays most snes games minus Star fox and other super fx games it plays most every genesis and sega cd game no problem with gameboy advance and any earlier gameboy models nes runs a little fast but settings fix that so what about playstation one games some like jumping flash wouldn't load some like Tony Hawk pro skater were both slow and not enough buttons however games like twisted metal 1 & 2 using the run and gun control scheme worked flawlessly I'm still trying different games out but for $30 dollars this super small handheld is a massive bargain and most importantly it's fun fun fun

It's great value. Bright, good sound, comes with an SD card already.
It comes with an 8GB SD card that is easy to add roms. A bigger SD card would need to be re-imaged and I don't know what image to use for that so I haven't tried it yet.The small size is not a problem. It's a plus, as it fits perfectly in a small pocket. It's screen is bright enough to be easily visible in sunlight outdoors! The only downside is I cannot figure out how to dial down the sound, though I haven't tried much to figure it out yet.The buttons and D-pad work great.

Great little device
This device came with a handful of software on the device which made it ready to go out of the box. For those looking to add software its very easy and the memory card is set up so there isn't much guess work. The menus and settings may take some adjusting or getting use to but there are plenty of options to find that sweet spot for almost anyone. I.E. ratios, speed, etc etc. Pleased.

Works
This product works very well. Just download roms onto SD card and turn it on. User interface is a bit wonky -- but for the price, and what it does -- very easy. Only issue I have had is the d-pad is a little wonky. Pressing up often results in a "left" input. The left side of the d-pad feels "mushy" and squeaks.

Cons outweigh the Pros
When I first got the bittboy, I really liked it. It's a very inexpensive item to play retro games on the go. After using it for some time, I found some flaws worth nothing.1. The size is small which is nice but not very comfortable to play for long periods. My hands start to cramp after 20 mins or so.2. There are issues with emulation. Lots of screen tearing can happen on certain systems. SNES is not even playable on this device.3. Lacks R and L buttons.4. The worst part is that the charging port broke. The connector completely disconnected from the board. Only way to fix it is to sauder it back on. Now my device can't be charged and will pretty much end up in the trash.Overall the look is great. Love how it mimics a Gameboy, but the quality is low and will not last long. The screen is nice though. Ohh it screen brightness but bleed through. Some don't like that, but I don't mind.At the end of the day, I can't recommend this product.

Great Product
Works very well, comes preloaded with tons of games and a micro sd card. Works very well for casual on the go play. The only question I have is what the usb that it comes with is used for, does anyone know?

No school, like old school. Brings back memories.
Love it, brings back old memories of playing Metroid 2, while lyin in bed on our families yacht in Puerto Rico when I was about 12.Only thing I’d like to see different, is an addition of being able to cheat with every emulator, not just GB. They say you can, but I can’t figure out how to place them in the SD card
