Cool novelty but works well!
I bought this kind of as a novelty item, but it works pretty well. The translated instructions were a little hard to understand, but I figured it out and now it sits on my mantle and keeps pretty good track of high and low weather pressure.

Fun conversation piece!
This barometer is so much fun and is quite accurate!! Not very durable as I’m on my second one but it is made out of glass so you have to be careful! Perfect size and has the coolest look! Definitely a conversation piece!

Works great, but go no instructions on how to read it
It works great. Changes every day and thorughout the day. However the box came entirely in Chinese. There was one small slip of paper with a brief explanation of how to set it up by a non english speaker.

Pain to set up. Still not sure if it works or not.
First off, instructions are not in English. This is clearly a product made in Asia for an Asian market. Box was not in English, instructions were not in English, but we had to rely on the pictures to know what to do. As a gift for my daughter who loves science, she initially loved it but setting up was a pain. The colored dye got on everything and everywhere and the water was super difficult to get inside the glass. I don't think it works for the weather and the value is not good at all. Had I known all of this, I would have skipped this and looked elsewhere.

Find a place to keep it outside in garage. It works outside.
I wasn't sure this thing was working when I had it in the house, so we put it in the garage where we could see it out the backdoor window. IT definitely works out there. If I am wondering if we are about to get a storm (we live in tornado country) all I have to do is look out there. I put red food coloring in mine so it is easy to see from a distance. It sits on a shelf out there where it is easy to notice. OH, be sure you watch the videos online about how to fill it by laying it on it's side in the top of a coffee mug. Big game changer. So easy to fill or empty that way.

Hard to fill, but once it’s set up it’s just fine.
I don’t have anything to test it with properly, but it’s pretty accurate. I can usually read it late at night to see how the morning might go. It didn’t come with blue powder and the instructions were in mandarin. But there’s photos and it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out. For what it costs it’s totally worth it. The glass seems thin, Id keep it away from kids and cats
