SGS Breeze 540 Saltwater Chlorinator Replacement Cell

They no longer make replacement salt cells for our existing Breeze pool chlorine generation system, so it was nice to find this option which also fit our current model vs. needing to replace the whole system when everything else still works. I can't speak to it's durability/long-term performance since we just installed it, but the fit was perfect and it is working great so far.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Spent $900 for a salt cell that doesn’t even work. I tried it for a month and nothing.

This was my first time replacing the original cell in my Wave 40 salt water pool system. The original one lasted a little more than six years. This version appears to be slightly beefier construction including plate attachment and power connections to the plates. It rapidly generates chlorine and easily maintains the proper level even in our typically very hot climate.

We bought the chlorinator last April and it isn't working at all this year. Not producing any chlorine

new cell does not work. Pool professional told me they had a rash of bad ceiis he has encountered. you're rolling the dice buying this replacement cell. Good luck

Worked great with our existing Breeze unit. It generated chlorine for our inground pool.
