I am very happy with this purchase. I had large document to prepare for a client and this has helped me submit a more professional package. It was 7 volumes, the largest volume being in excess of 550 pages. The binder worked very well and was able to handle the largest book without issue. Obviously, I purchased additional suitably sized combs for the larger volume and experienced no issues.

This is a great GBC binding machine. It is lightweight, yet sturdy, and very easy to use. It is easy to adjust for different sizes of paper. It is NOT made to punch 30 sheets of paper at a time (like the big, heavy GBC machines). This is made for small jobs. I have had no problem at all punching up to 8 sheets at a time. Very nice that it came with 100 combs. They are small combs, which should be a clue to the consumer that small jobs are where this machine shines. You can certainly do 100+ page projects, but be aware that you will spend a little time punching the holes. This is perfect for a small, home business like mine.

Great budget binder. Super happy with results!

Works well. A bit of a learning curve to use and the handle/lever/arm feels it won’t last with prolonged use. A lot cheaper than the one at staples for 159.00. We used it to bind 12 journals, the curly binders were included which was nice.

Really enjoy using this not only for my daycare but also my daughter’s homeschooling papers. Easy to use and fits right into my craft room. Quality is great!

Holes lunch rough. The bindings that come with it are so flimsy that you can barely get anything in to them with the combs being pushed back. Used plenty of those machines before but even at the price you are spending more on buying quality bindings after spending money to buy this one because it has bindings with it. I would send it back but tired of having to be the one to do the work to return poor products to Amazon. If a product is poor quality Amazon needs to start at no cost picking it back up from your house. Of course they won't because they want you to forget to take it back.

I had to return the first one because it was defective. However, the second one is working incredibly well and is incredibly easy to use. I had some of my Pre-k students using it today to help them organize their homework books. We provided them with the instructions, and it was a breeze for them to follow.

I was a little worried initially, a couple of the combs were bent when I took the unit out of the box, but I was able to bend them back with my hand. Otherwise, I followed the instructions to punch at least 7 sets of holes in the cardboard that came with the unit to remove the manufacturing oil. I did about 10 sets to be safe. I quickly punched and bound a PDF manual I printed off a couple weeks ago using the 19 hole setting for 8.11 x 11 sized paper and voila. Worked perfectly. The density/weight/thickness/composition of the paper will determine how many sheets you can punch. I'd say maybe 10-11 sheets at 20 weight max per punch (to be safe & not break anything) and it goes down from there as the weight increases. You can certainly punch cardstock and 10 mil lamination, I punched 10 mil laminated 40 weight cardstock without issue but you'll be punching one page at a time. The handle is easily removed for storage and the spacing appears equal with the punch and comb. All in all for household and light office/school use this is a fine machine. The housing is plastic but mechanically inside when I took a peek, everything appeared to be metal. So with care and not over exertion, this machine should last. Just to stress, this is not a high capacity, high volume office unit, this is a home/small office/light school use binding machine, it's great for small projects and light/occasional use but if you're going to be putting together dozens of books a day or want to punch 40 or 100 sheets at a time, don't get this. I highly recommend this unit.
