Homesick Texas Mini Scented Candle (10 to 12 hr Burn Time), 1.5 oz

I bought the Arizona candle. The smell is similar to the description of the box; however, the smell is very muted. There's definitely more of an emphasis on the agave smell. Like other reviews have said, this candle is very small. This was not an issue for me; however, the combination of the size, smell and quality of the candle, I cannot say I will be purchasing another.The quality of the candle is really what irked me. I truly wonder what the manufacturing process of this candle is. The box is very pretty. When I opened the box to reveal the candle, I noticed along the rim there were lines of wax. It didn't look nice, but it didn't bother me too much. I was curious to know what the burn time of the candle was, so I flipped it around to look at the bottom, and the candle simply fell out of the glass. It was astounding. I looked into the glass, and it looks like there was a small pool of wax put there to hold the what's probably a preformed candle. I'm suggesting this, because if that was supposed to hold the wick in place, it would have been in contact with the whole candle. Instead, the whole candle came off, perfectly formed. I don't really care if the candle was handpoured or not, I just want the candle. That being said, if that's what's being advertised, I feel like they're being misleading in what it means to be 'handpoured'.At the very least, I think when I'm done with this candle, it'll be easy to upcycle.

I bought this as a gift for my friend living here in Maine who is from Southern California. She cried!! She thought it was just the sweetest gift and it smelled like home.

I spent an obscene amount of money on what is essentially a votive candle. But it was one of the homesick candles that promised to smell like Southern California (citrus, aloe, and sea breeze, among other accompanying scents), the investment seemed worth it. Well, it showed up yesterday and literally smells like an old person. You know that stale, overly floral, slightly sterile smell that assaults your nostrils the moment you enter any home or doctor’s office in Rancho Mirage? That’s this candle. Not great, however, it did remind me of home (in a weird way) so they didn’t get it totally wrong. If nothing else, I ended up with a good laugh and hilarious story. Was it worth $17? Probably not, but I can say my nostalgia for the Coachella Valley has been satisfied, and I didn’t even need to hop on a plane.

I bought this mini candle to see if the scents were nice before buying larger sizes. Washington is a wonderful scent but I wish I had gone ahead and purchased the full-size version. This candle is very small and I wouldn't have paid this much for it if I had realized how small 1.5 oz actually is. The candle is about 2.5 inches tall and 2 in diameter.

Thank you so much! I was born in Sicily but I grew up in Washington state. I got the Washington candle for myself because I’ve been living in Wyoming whole traveling for work. As soon as I opened up and smelt this candle I started to cry. This candle brought back memories I honestly didn’t even know I had. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this for anyone who is feeling home sick or just wants a little reminder of where they’re from. I can’t speak on all the scents but I will definitely say the Washington scent made me tear up!

This candle smells like the fine leather department at a high-end store or a tack shop. It smells like leather and leather oil and has the finest whisp of wildflowers in the breeze.I only got the small size initially based on reviews, but that was a mistake. Now, I have to go back and get the HUGE size!!!I am a very proud 5th generation native Texan and I approve this scent!!! ❤

My bf is from NJ and he’s been missing home. This made him relax a bit more. Would recommend!

I'm putting together a "Texas" themed gift basket for a friend and thought this would be the perfect addition. After looking at the prices, I opted for the smaller sized candle as they are quite pricey and already the most expensive item in my gift basket. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The product packaging was flawless and perfect for gifting. However, even reading the sizing description prior to ordering couldn't have prepared me for how TINY this candle is which is disappointing for the price tag that comes with this candle. I haven't burnt it, seeing as its a gift but the out-of-package scent isn't bad...just blah and not strong at all which in my experience equates to no scent when burning. :-( Honestly, if this wasn't the only like-product available, I would gladly return it as its not a great value for the money spent. It does look nice though
