T-REIGN Retractable Gear Tether with FOX40 Whistle, Black/Orange

The reviews for the Fox40 Safety Whistle are very impressive, so I don't know why mine doesn't work. When I blow on it full force, it's barely loud enough to be significant 20 meters away. By comparison, I have a 10-year-old whistle from a 99-cent store that is almost piercing at that range. It must be defective or or a knockoff, because it's not exactly a complicated instrument. I'm returning this item. The second star is for the retractable tether, which isn't as impressive as I'd hoped either, but at least it does its job.
