Works well
poor instructions regarding customizing the programming but the defaults should work fine for most applications. very straight forward install instructions and seems to be working well after several weeks of use. Going to order more for my other vehicles

You too can pay then work for this company
I just received two FLSHR_G1 flashers. I planed on giving one to my 89 year old father, but there are no instructions, only a link. He doesn't have a computer. The Company's marketing rationalization "By providing link to manual we eliminate paper waste..." is not true. The Company just shifts the cost, work, and "waste" to you.I hope the flasher working well is not another marketing lie.

Great performance, easy install, tedious setup/configuration. The documentation needs more depth and tips.
I purchased this flasher module for installation on a 2014 GMC Terrain. The installation process was very straight forward and didn't present any obstacles to overcome. Tip... The onboard accelerometer requires that you mount the module in one of 4 orientations. Be sure when performing the setup that you have the module physically resting in the chosen orientation on a table, or in the vehicle. It is impossible to complete the setup/configuration process otherwise.Regarding the setup/configuration... Prepare for a test of your concentration. This is a very tedious, but necessary process that can cause many complete setup iterations...until you get it right. It will be a frustrating endeavor, as reviews from many sources have stated. Most of the issues you will encounter could have been anticipated by the developer, and help tips could have been provided...but they simply are not there for you. Though there are a couple of videos provided on YouTube, in no way are they very helpful. You're pretty much on your own to work through the entire setup by trial and error.I fully recommend that you consider purchasing the test board that is also sold by the developer at Ebay. It will allow you to sit comfortably at a table and perform the entire setup. At the very least, consider building and attaching a momentary, always-open switch. The switch is available at the developer's site, but you may find a similar one here at Amazon.Does it fit, and does it work? Yes it does, and very well. The customization that you have at your disposal is great. You can set your flasher to work in 4 orientations, so it really shouldn't be difficult to find a spot to secure the tiny device and wires. The G-force sensing accelerometer provides a huge benefit when slowing while braking. If you need to suddenly brake harder, the module will sense the new force and engage the flasher again. Read up on that feature at the developer's site. The install was a no-brainer, but the setup/configuration could have been easier with more tips and attention to detail in the documentation. You will get through the process eventually, but not without some cursing. At this time, this flasher seems to be the most advanced 3rd brake light flasher on the market. It was a very good purchase that very well may protect my family from a serious rear-end collision.

Light flasher with a G-force feedback!!! Unbelievably great !!
This is absolutely fantastic, really great idea implemented very well. The form factor of this device is really low profile, fits anywhere. The build quality is great, and the documentaion provided is clear to follow. I never thought i would see this outside premium car makers world like BMW, etc... The technology behind this device is astonishing at a great price.

Great product, easy to install
Great product, easy to install. Programming is a bit confusing, but not impossible. I bought the model that I did because of the accelerometer feature, I kinda wish the default settings made use of it.

Good Product, Works Well.
This works well! I purchased two of these, one each for my car and my wife's. Installation was straightforward, and I did not bother with changing the factory default settings. The defaults give you six slow flashes on light/initial brake application, six fast flashes on medium brake application, and sixteen fast flashes on hard braking.Almost immediately, we both noticed following cars not following as closely after braking. A little while ago, I had a car run a red light in front of me, and I had to hit the brakes hard. I didn't squeal a tire during this maneuver, but I did hear squealing tires on the car behind me, so, I'd say they noticed.Years ago, there was a product called Cyber Light, that was invented by an instrument engineer. It was aimed at the motorcycle market, but they tested it on a group of San Francisco taxis. As I recall, at the conclusion of the test, they were seeing a fairly large reduction in rear end accidents in the cabs equipped with the flashers. Cyber Light flashed faster as you got on the brakes harder, and the inventor claimed that the flashing brake light bypassed the thinking process of following drivers, getting them to go for their brakes quicker. Looks like that may well be the case.

It does what it claims to do...
This thing is pretty awesome. My electric dirt bike didn't have a brake light, so I wired it to some static on LED lights relying on the g-sensor/accelerometer independently of any brake switch signal. Basically, it thinks I'm braking all the time. When I let off the throttle, it starts flashing, and when I slow down quicker or more abruptly, it'll do the rapid flashes. I haven't tinkered with adjusting the settings. The default mounting position is the wires pointed toward the front of the vehicle. It took some time mounting and re-mounting until I got my desired results.
