Farmstead Apothecary Lip Balm (Boysenberry & Fig, 2 Pack- Boysenberry Vanilla & Fig Honey)

These are great. They deserve 5 stars. Great flavors and moisturizing and tube is not plastic!!! However, as someone trying to limit plastic in my life, I wish that they were not wrapped in plastic!!!! They are just lip balm, please Amazon or Farmstead, wrap in paper!!!!

I really like this product. I've used some others that are in cardboard packaging. This one still fits easily in my pocket, works well, and I like the scents. Unfortunately, I felt there was too much unnecessary plastic packaging. I specifically bought lip balm in a cardboard package to avoid plastic. I hope the seller decides to rethink their packaging because I'd like to buy this again.

This is a gift I bought for others, so I can't comment on the quality (which I'm sure is nice) but what I can comment on is the gut wrenching size of this product.This chapstick is $6 for a pinky sized chapstick. This is about half the size of average chapstick for 3x the price. I got it originally for the paper apparatus it's made from, because it's better than single use plastic but the cost cannot possibly be worth the size.What I expected was an average sized chapstick at this cost, and I wouldn't have minded that it was a little more expensive, but not for this peanut sized thing.

This comes with a TON of packaging, including; tight plastic around the chapsticks themselves, bubble wrap, advertisements, and 3 individual dose packets of midol. I am not sure who is doing marketing for Amazon, but WTAF?Chapsticks themselves seem nice, but this was ridiculously counterproductive to the original reason I bought them....

Very disappointed.1. These are TINY. When they arrived I looked in the package and thought: did I order batteries? I pulled them out and couldn’t believe these were the “jumbo” chapsticks I had ordered. I’ll run out in a week. This is false advertising from the company.2. Also, these chapsticks have a paper/cardboard shell so if you leave it next to the sink or your purse gets wet, you’ll have nothing left.3. These chapsticks don’t have a standard twist up mechanism. You have to hold one finger underneath the entire time you’re using it so it won’t twist back down.The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the scents are nice and it is creamy and nice to put on.But, all the inconveniences will make you not want to use them.

Ok, so I bought this to avoid plastic. I know.... Amazon sometimes over packages so what could I expect?!! Well, there was multiple layers of plastic around these tiny tubes. I was very disappointed about that!! The tubes themselves are durable and the chapstick is light and not super mosturizing. So I am only using them in the summer. Smell is great too

I love the sustainable packaging, organic ingredients used, and cruelty free lip balm from farmstead. The fig and honey is my go to. This lip balm will leave your lips so soft. It hasn’t dried them out or left them peeling.

I was looking for a lip balm that was eco friendly and plastic free. I found this balm and I love this balm! It moisturizes well and has two great flavors. The tube is paper not plastic. The tube is sturdy! I carry the balm in my pocket. I've used several tubes now and the tube holds up to the wear and tear.
