UPDATE 11/13/18I take back what i said below about the magnets not being strong enough. It turns out that the canvas fabric my curtains are made of were just stiff at first but have loosened up as i have moved them open and closed more frequently. Good product, i am upgrading from 4 star to 5.10/05/18These look nice, but the magnet is not as strong as i was expecting. The magnets easily separated when attempting to tie back the curtain as shown in the first product image. I do not know how the competition compares, but i do know i was expecting stronger magnets for the price i paid (25$ for 4 of the 16in burgundy red)

I've been using these for a few months. Suddenly the string started unraveling on all of them at the same time. Very disappointed and too late to return.

They unraveled pretty quick after purchase. I had to keep the rope in place with super glue.

Use to hold heavier curtains. Very good value and look great. Also has a good magnetic hold on heavier curtains

They are very versatile, you can make them as loose or as tight as you want. Looks great against my black and silver curtains.
