Miracle product!
This has been amazing for my ten year old son. He was still having accidents most nights despite our trying to limit liquids in the evenings, setting alarms for him to wake up to go potty during the night, etc. I’m so happy we purchased this! It was rough at first, having to wake up with him when the alarm went off during the night, but it was well worth it when he stopped having accidents after four weeks. He has been dry for over three months now, with the exception of one accident about a month ago, which we just ignored as recommended. This has worked wonders for his confidence and he’s getting ready for his first friend sleepover in a couple weeks. There were some false alarms due to sweat because the alarm is so sensitive but with a little tweaking of the sensitivity level we were all good. We can handle a few false alarms for these results! My son complained a bit about the discomfort of having to sleep in just undies with the alarm under nothing but a thin sheet, but the online tracking and videos kept him motivated and invested in the process. It’s not cheap so it can be hard to make the initial leap, but it’s so well worth the cost.

This is the REAL DEAL! Why didn't I buy this sooner?!
There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for this system! My daughter has been wetting the bed at night since she was born. The Pediatrician kept telling us that she would eventually outgrow it and not to worry about it. So we kept buying pull-ups for my daughter to sleep in at night. Once my daughter turned 8, the Pediatrician suggested that we try a prescription medicine which can sometimes work in eliminating bedwetting. We used the medicine for 6 months when my daughter said it doesn't work and she didn't want to take it anymore. As time went on my daughter was getting so self conscious about her bed wetting and nothing worked- the medicine, limiting fluids at night, rewards, will-power. Even though she wore pull-ups to bed, she was uncomfortable going to sleepovers, fearing that the other girls would hear the crinkle of the pull-up or smell the pee in the morning. She was getting frustrated and begged me to help her stop. At 10 years old, she had had enough. Nothing worked until I found TheraPee. I was hesitant at first about buying this system due to the price and of course wondering if this system would really stop my daughter from wetting the bed at night. I did A LOT of research all over the internet on all types of bed-wetting alarms and products which claim to eliminate bed-wetting, but didn't have a consistent track record or had a low success rate. I went to TheraPee's website and literally read every page and tons of reviews both on their website and Amazon. I took notes on what reviewers were saying about the system and tried to figure out how I could logistically set up the TheraPee system in my house. I contacted their Customer Service on at least two occasions before deciding to purchase TheraPee. My daughter is 10 years old, but her bedroom is upstairs, while the Master bedroom is downstairs. I didn't know if I would hear the alarm go off if she wet the bed at night. The Customer Service representatives were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the system and how it worked. One of the Reps. suggested that I buy an inexpensive 2 way baby monitor. One for my daughter's room and one for mine. This way I could hear the alarm go off while I was sleeping downstairs, I could also ask my daughter through the 2way feature if it was a false alarm or if I needed to come up and help her. That was the FIRST gold star for TheraPee Customer Service. Then as I asked more questions, the Representative suggested that I put the pad on top of a mattress protector that lays on top of her sheets. This way if she did wet the bed at night, I wouldn't need to change all of her sheets, I could just wipe off the TheraPee mat and quickly change the mattress protector. SECOND gold star for TheraPee Customer Service. As the conversation continued, we figured out that if I bought inexpensive pillow cases, I could put the TheraPee mat inside the pillow case to make it more comfortable for my daughter to lay on. THIRD gold star for TheraPee Customer Service. By then, I had answers to all of my questions. I was so pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable the Service Reps. were. They really understood the product and did everything they could to help me figure out the best logistics for making it work in my home. My husband did not support my decision to buy TheraPee. He kept telling me to buy one of the super cheap bed wetting alarms. But I knew that I needed to buy this product and try it. Everything that Dr. Sagie discussed on his website about mistakes parents make in trying to get their child from wetting the bed at night, I am guilty of. Everything that Dr. Sagie talked about made sense to me. Problem-solving logistics with the Customer Service really helped me to picture how this was going to work at night without disrupting too much of my precious sleep. In addition to the suggestions from Customer Service, i also made sure that I was fully prepared at night. So each day, I put several pairs of clean underwear and PJs on the night table next to my daughter's bed along with a ruler, notebook and pen (for recording the details needed to input into the software program). I also included a couple of clean hand towels to wipe down the TheraPee mat if she did wet the bed, extra mattress protectors and pillow cases. Everything was right there and made getting up to record and change into clean underwear and Pjs quick and easy. I didn't have to hunt for anything and the 2 way baby monitor was the best. We determined after 2 weeks, that my daughter was getting false alarms and using the 2 way monitor allowed me to stay in bed downstairs and ask her if she was really wet or if it was a false alarm. That way I could maximize my sleep if I didn't need to get out of bed for a false alarm. We continued to adjust the sensitivity settings on the alarm until we didn't get anymore false alarms. This system worked in less than 7 days! Honest to goodness!!!! During the entire 12 week program, my daughter only wet the bed on 6 nights, with one night having 2 instances of wetting. I was so happy for my daughter as her confidence grew each day she woke up dry. She was talking about finally being able to go to sleep away camp, like her big brother, the following summer because she would no longer be wetting the bed. Here we are almost a year later and bed wetting is a distant memory. My daughter wakes up at night on her own if she needs to use the bathroom. Pull-ups are a thing of the past. All I keep thinking is, why did't I know about TheraPee sooner? Why couldn't I have found out about this system when my daughter was younger and saved her the agony of dealing with bed wetting at 10 years old? i am now on a mission to tell my friends and anyone I hear discussing night time bed wetting about TheraPee. I even printed out several pages and handed them to our Pediatrician, who has 2 children that wet the bed. Thank you, thank you Dr. Sagie and everyone on your team for caring enough about our children and making a product that really does what it says it does!!! There are no words to tell you how relieved I am as a Mother not to have to console my now 11 year old daughter about wetting the bed at night. I would buy this system again if I ever had more children or if my future grandchildren wet the bed. Thank you!!!!

Success early on, dry nights within 2 weeks, totally dry after 8 weeks... should have went with TherePee sooner! Our story...
We started using TherePee about 8 weeks ago. I'm pleased to say our daughter is now dry! More so, she was dry after about 10 days. Yeah! We have 3 children; 2 boys and a girl. We used TherePee for our daughter. Our oldest son was also a bed wetter. After years of working with him trying every "try this" trick in the book, seeing a pediatric urologist, trying meds, you name it, we tried it we were still struggling with not just wetting the bed, but soaking the bed. All bedding from sheets, to pads, to bed quits had to be washed every day; for 4 years. He was 8 years old when we stumbled up a company who offered a pad/alarm system similar to TherePee. It worked! Within a couple of weeks he was having dry nights and no accidents after two months; but oh was that first week brutal. We were up many times a night with him, but we stuck with it and success was achieved. It was through that program that we learned for some kids bed wetting is more a sleep issue than a potty issue. He was sleeping too deeply to wake; and too deeply to even rest well. Not achieving REM sleep. Both were resolved and he was a happier, less tired, dry child after that program. But it was a $$$$ program and we didn't get to keep the equipment. Fast forward a few years we had another son who only had one night time accident when we took away his pull-ups (about age 4) and he's been dry ever since. Boy, what a surprise that was; a welcomed one. Yet, fast forward a few more years and we found ourselves again night training our daughter; starting all about the same age (presuming they didn't achieve it on their own first). The first year I didn't worry too much about her success... especially the 7 months her father was away most of the time as we prepared for a cross-country move due to a job transfer; he went ahead of us. A few months after the move through (about the time she turned 5) we were back to trying all the tricks we had once tried on our eldest son, plus any new ideas we heard since then... except an pee pad alarm, or any alarm for that matter. After about 6 months of no success I purchased a clip-on alarm and we implemented all the "how to's" we learned with the program we used many years back. But the clip-on alarm often fell off; and hence wasn't working. It was when I saw the clip-on alarm that I also saw the TherePee alarm. I was intrigued as it was similar to yet thousands less in price than the program we used years back. (TherePee, please do not take that as an indicator you can raise your price. I think your price is fair just as it is. :)) But we opted to try the clip-on first (even cheaper) and go from there. Well, a few months later I was back to buy the TherePee pad. We started using it soon after her 6th birthday and in the first week she earned her first star. By the end of two weeks she had two stars in a row. And the stars kept coming and coming and coming! Success!! Two months later she hasn't had an accident since about day 10. She was ready. We all knew she was ready. She wanted to be dry too. We just needed the right system; I knew it when I first saw it and should have went with it right away. But, I tried to save a few $'s and well... here we are. Lesson learned. Not only does the pee pad approach work well, but I liked that we can keep the TherePee pad. Not that we have more kids, but if we regress, we are ready. I also liked the online component. My daughter loved putting her stars on the online calendar; she can work the mouse herself. She enjoyed the "Good Job" videos and she was beaming w/ the video told her she was done. I saw one review that said the pad was uncomfortable to sleep one; and/or slid around. A trick we learned with the pad we had years ago was to slide it into a pillowcase. And to then put it on top of the bottom sheet vs under the bottom sheet. Bonus is only the pillow case gets wet (usually that is... there are those heavy wet nights that overflow everywhere) and you only have to slide off the wet pillow case, rinse the pad, dry it, slide on a new pillowcase and head back to bed. Quick and easy. I strongly believe for some kids, like two of my three, bed wetting is a sleep issue. Once you get that alarm brining a child out of that deep sleep success follows. It's too bad not all are as easy to train as my middle, but for those that are deep sleepers, I'm glad there are options like TherePee... bummer we didn't know about them nearly a decade ago when we used that other much more expensive program. But thankfully through that program we learned a method that worked for two of kids and it ultimately brought us to TherePee. Thanks TherePee.

Worth the wait-thorough, effective, builds awareness and confidence
This program takes time but is worth waiting for and well worth the cost. We enjoy the check in video sessions with the doctor. There is a visual chart to track progress. At first we had many alarms going off but we got prepared with extra sheets and pjs. Our little one is a very sound sleeper and like many, plays hard and simply slept through body cues to get up and go. We have been training for near 8 weeks and have had no accidents the past 3 weeks. For us this has been such effective way to night potty train and become aware of body cues and gain confidence. So happy with this program and wish we had purchased long ago! Thank you for such a wonderful product!

My son was 9 and still wetting every night. We tried everything - no water after 5pm, shaking him awake at 10pm for a quick wee, loads of encouragement and promises of reward. Nothing worked. He's a big boy and the biggest kid's pull-ups are now far too small - super uncomfortable and not containing all the liquid. Changing the sheets every day, constant slight whiff of urine in his bedroom, the cost of pull-ups and bed mats. Not being able to send him to Scout camps and sleepovers. Just so upsetting for all of us! Dr Sagie's Therapee was a desperate decision - it's so expensive! I was swayed by all the positive reviews here. Even the negative ones *mostly* said that their child's wetting improved or stopped. So it arrived, and my son was super keen to try it out. The intro videos are great to watch with your child. The first week was torture. 2 wets a night and that alarm is LOUD! And if you don't dry the sensor mat properly it just goes off again once you plug it back in and you have to strip the bed again to get it out and dry it! Week 2 and 3 he dropped to one wet per night and the occasional dry night. In week 4 he had a 6-dry-night streak! From then he'd wet only once or twice a week until week 12, when he stayed dry. There are weekly [pre-recorded] progress videos, driven by what has been entered into the progress chart, which my son enjoyed seeing. The videos had my son try various bladder-strengthening techniques, but we pretty much dropped those after a few days. His bladder was not the problem, but if your child has a small or weak bladder the exercises may help. The sensor mat stayed in great condition, none of the fraying some people have mentioned. It has now been 4 months since my son last wet the bed! I am utterly astounded at how a wetting alarm switched on that part of his subconscious. I completely recommend this product.

Well, the time has come for me to review the TheraPee system. It has been 28 weeks and we have finally removed the mat from the bed with over 30 nights dry. My daughter was 8 when we started this programme and we were under a specialist at the hospital. She had all of the necessary scans to make sure that she was physically well and their answer was to prescribe drugs (which didn’t make any difference). I think our secret was to commit fully to the bedwetting system and talk about it honestly. I don’t believe it was the exercises, the chart, or the feedback from the Dr that worked especially well - more a combination of everything. It was the persuasion that she will get better, it will take time and there will be set backs, but at no point did she doubt that this would work. The mat is uncomfortable to start off with but she got used to it. I removed it and hid it every morning so that it didn’t become a feature of her room and then returned it just before bedtime. The alarm can be temperamental in the summer with sweat (and slobber 🤤) but you can adjust the settings so that it is less sensitive. It’s also really important that you dry it properly, otherwise you’ll plug it back in and it will start to go off again. The alarm is loud for everyone else - but not the bed wetter! I slept on my daughters floor for maybe two months, ready to dive up to make sure she woke and sorted everything herself. It was tough, no doubt, but so worth it. She was such a deep sleeper that she would set off the alarm, sort everything out, walk to the bathroom, help to change her sheets but then remember nothing in the morning. It is exhausting but now she has more settled bedtimes, better sleep and is generally less anxious. We haven’t braved a sleepover yet but we have been discharged from the hospital and the consultant said that it was the bedwetting system and my hard work that have helped, not anything that they had done (although it was really important that my daughter had the scans to rule anything more sinister out and I will be forever grateful for the care and attention that they gave to us). It is a lot of money - a huge amount of money. If you’re not serious about devoting every last morsel of energy to it then don’t buy it - because you may be disappointed. Always be positive with your child. It is the CBT that makes this successful: Always reinforce that this ‘mat’ will be the solution. Don’t expect it to work straight away. It may do but that wasn’t our experience. We started off with wet nights every night and then they became less frequent, then we had a relapse and then improvements. We had a 3 week spell of dry nights and then one or two wet ones. It has been a long process and I am still expecting the occasional wet night - but that’s okay. My daughter is healthy and happy, perfection will come in time.

Our son is 8 years old. He had a bed-wetting problem until we discovered TheraPee. The product was recommended by close friends whose 10-year-old son had the same problem and permanently solved it in 12 weeks with this therapy. For us, it took 20 weeks, but it finally worked. Dr Sagie in prerecorded videos gives clear and objective information and explanations about the bed-wetting problem in general and about the product and the therapy, how and why it works, how long it may take, and what expectations to have. It was a relief for our son and for us to learn that there is nothing wrong if you have that problem and that many children around the world share the same problem. Before this, we tried many different approaches (eating and drinking schedules, no fluids after 18 o'clock, waking up the child after 3 hours of sleep, and taking him to the toilette, etc.). Nothing worked. Our son was frustrated and he did not want to go for sleepovers with his friends or for trips with his school or sports club, because he felt insecure and he would be ashamed if he had a bed-wetting incident. The product (alarm) comes together with the therapist's support (calendar of dry and wet nights, blue, red, and gold stars as small awards for dry nights, interactive prerecorded videos of Dr. Sagie who gives instructions for exercises, evaluates the results and prepares the child and parents by explaining the plan of therapy every two weeks). To succeed, the parents must participate in the therapy making sure that the child complies with the instructions persistently. You have to wake up with the alarm and supervise the child to make sure that all steps are followed according to the doctor's instructions, you must motivate the child to do all the exercises regularly (physical exercises extending the bladder capacity and improving the control of the bladder sphincters). This is a family project. Do not expect that the problem will disappear simply by buying the alarm and placing it in your child's bed. This is a very good tool, but you and your child must do the job. Do not expect that the child will do the work on his/her own. You must be there to motivate him/her and to coach him/her. Like everything important in life - it takes time and effort, but this product and therapy really helps. Our son was excited about the stars and video sessions and felt satisfied and motivated by the obvious progress. He succeeded. He recently went to a summer school camp and felt safe and relaxed. We have been dry for 2 months now. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Like many parents who have turned to Therapee we had tried so much to help our 8 year old son. We waited to let nature take its course, we tried waking him to go to toilet, we tried multiple medications on various doses, none of which resulted in dry nights. Therapee needs commitment the first 2 weeks were like having a new born baby again, he didn’t wake with the alarm and was wetting 3 times a night, but by the end of the second week he started waking and had his first dry night. By the end of the third week he was becoming consistently dry, then had 4 solid weeks of dryness. He wakes himself now and goes to the bathroom. He graduated fully after 8 weeks but almost 5 of that was fully dry. He has just ordered a new bunk bed and he is so happy to be binning the pull ups. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, worth every penny.
