FastFerment 7.9G Mason Jar Adaptor

I've read other reviews from people who've had problems with this product leaking. All that you have to do is make sure the gasket is inserted securely in the channel that is provided for it and that you have it screwed down tightly to the mason jar and you will not have an issue.

many reviews say that the gasket that comes with the unit doesn't work... it does. You simply have to stretch the gasket into place. I put the gasket into place, and fudged it where needed, then screwed on a ball jar and let it sit for a day. Now the gasket fits perfectly, and a great seal with a mason jar.

This mason jar yeast harvesting system is working out better than the default one provided with the FastFermenter conical fermenter. The simple fact that it doesn't waste as much beer is a solid reason to get it.A mason jar is transparent letting us see the yeast working away as clearly see how much has been collected. The included seal is just a tad too small to work. The recommended product here "County Line Kitchen Reusable Silicone Seals" are perfect for sealing the jar to the attachment.This is a good accessory to buy.A dozen seals seems like a lot but I've found other uses for most of these seals.

Recieved 2. And neither had gaskets

I like the idea of this mason jar adapter for FastFerment fermenters. Ordered twice, and both times the white rubber gasket shown in the photos was missing from the kit. I had to order the gaskets separately. Messed up my brew day plans due to the issue. With the added gaskets, now these adapters work fine.

I have just gotten these assembled on my fast ferment but its not filled yet. best and easiest idea so far. Im pretty stoked to actually see my wine sediments and yeast in the jar!

now I can see the old yeast.
