Dirty Filthy Fix: A Fixed Trilogy Novella - 1001 Dark Nights

She needs time to figure it all out and Nathan gives her that still seeing her at the weekend sex parties. And let me tell you, those are some crazy, sexy parties!What I loved most about this story was Trish's struggle. It was REAL. Her feeling of being "taken" by another person, their's to protect, their's to feed, their's to watch over. Trish doesn't want that, doesn't need that. She is perfect on her own. When Nathan steps in to help her out of an awkward situation at a party she gets offended when he thinks he is helping. But with time and creativity, they figure it out. Their relationship isn't rushed, yet the cat is let out of the bag in a rather quick way, but the time frame is their's to manipulate.The hot romantic scenes between them are some of the best yet! when they get excited over hearing another couple, they just do it. Right where they are. It's so hot and makes your whole body tingle in excitement. Well done. Classy and hot all at once!Laurelin has written a juicy story here with a great story line that is real and relate-able to the readers. A strong independent female also makes me happy. Nathan isn't overbearing, just kind and giving but then becomes dominate when he needs to and she so needs that. This story has the perfect story line and perfect balance. I could have read more of their story.

This book just didn't do it for me. I was hoping for more of a story on Nate Sinclair (45 so older than Dylan, Cade, & Weston. I haven't read Cade's books yet). He's been alluded to in Donovan & Weston's books (Dirty). In fact Weston had mentioned that Nate was a god and he wouldn't mind "watching". This book is from Trish's point of view (who is apparently in the Fixed series). She's a vapid and selfish. She meets Nate at a sex party where she's enthralled with him but still wants to be worshiped by all the other participants. She has "rules" and of course breaks them. There's a little information on his former job as an "art dealer" before he became part owner of Reach. He likes Trish but she doesn't want to be molded into what men want her to be, like a girlfriend and she definitely doesn't want to share any space because she likes her own things in her own house and not being defined by anyone or committed. She's pissed when Nate takes her to Weston & Lizzie's wedding because it's too personal. The only thing they seem to relate over is their sexual proclivities. A kind of surprise ending left me wanting a book on Nate's background and his in doctrine into Reach before he ever met Trish.

Patricia aka Trisha Belgiro aka T was secretary to Hudson Pierce who was married to Laney and if you have not read the Fixed Trilogy I would encourage you to do so. It's one of those books you say let's read it again. I digress because these characters were in this short story. Then there are the men known as Dirty Filthy Men and we are introduced to Nathan Sinclair aka Nate who is creative director of Reach Inc. which Donovan Kincaid and Weston King head up, they started the company.Nathan meets Tricia at her office, Hudson Pierce's company. He comes in for a meeting with Hudson and she is drawn to him. He shows up at Open Door a kinky group that met in different places each week, all you had to do was to have a password. She used her friend's because she had met the man of her dreams and was be married and didn't need to go anymore. Tricia was one of nine girls the father was trying for a boy. She always knew she didn't want the marriage and the kids and she was into the kinky sex. Anyways Tricia is 35 and not interested in a relationship and Nate was 45 and didn't know what kind of relationship he wanted but he wanted one with Tricia because he was into the kinky sex too. This was a well told story, it made me laugh it made me dad for her and sometimes I didn't know how to feel about her.

I loved Nate and Trish "non traditional" story, it was an enjoyable affair.I truly enjoyed Nate and Donavan's story and I can't wait to read Kincaid.

Firstly, I need to make this clear and tell you now that you must NOT read this book in public. No. Don't do it, because it has to be said that Dirty Filthy Fix is most definitely Laurelin's sexiest, kinkiest, and just hottest book that she has written to date. It is a novella, so all together there is only ten chapters, but with everything that Laurelin managed to fit in those ten chapters - a storyline; sex; the chemistry; sex; the romance; sex - had me devouring and loving this novella all the more.Trish and Nate, our two main characters, are characters that we, us readers, have met before. Dirty Filthy Fix is two of Laurelin's series' colliding; we've got Nathan Sinclair, one of the five owners of Reach Inc., from the Dirty Filthy Rich world, and then we have Patricia "Trish" Bisceglia, Hudson Pierce's long-time secretary from the Fixed world, and the outcome of having these two worlds collide was simply amazing.Their romance story, in my eyes, is an unusual one, but one that fit them perfectly. They both have very... singular tastes when it comes to what they like sexually, and from the very first page - and I literally do mean from the *very first page* - we're instantly thrown into this story, and we instantly see just how kinky Trish and Nate are, and... Whoa. It was very, very hot. Very, very sexy. And very, very kinky. But it was also romantic at times because of the compromises they made for each other to be together in a way that suits them best. But overall, I'm rating this story 4.5 stars, mainly because voyeurism isn't really my thing, and so I was a little uncomfortable reading some sexy scenes in this novella, but that's just my own issues; it doesn't take away from the fact that this novella really was amazing, and that Trish and Nathan have found the perfect person to be with because of their mutual tastes when it comes to what they like sexually.But all in all, I did really enjoy this novella. Nathan and Trish really were perfect together and for each other, and ever since Nathan's heart-to-heart to Sabrina about his love life all the way back in Dirty Filthy Rich Love, I could not wait to get my hands on and get started on reading this story. This novella does overlap the timeline in that novel, so we get to revisit a certain scene there here, and boy was THAT hot, but you don't have to read that book before reading this one, since this is a standalone novella in its own way. And since this is also a Fixed Series novella (again, you don't have to read that series in order to read this novella), we see Hudson and Alayna again and get a little catch up with them, and seeing them again only has me all the more excited for their next novel, Fixed Forever. But with Nathan and Trish... With how their story and HEA turned out? Well, it's more of a HFN ending, one that had me wanting this novella to never end, but it's an ending that suited our main characters best. If you're previously read the Fixed Series and the Dirty Filthy Rich Series, then I highly recommend that you get your hands on this novella; or if you're simply in the mood for a quick, sexy, hot, dirty, filthy, and kinky book? Then Dirty Filthy Fix is the one for you.

Dirty Filthy Fix is a slice of life from The Fixed Trilogy for 1001 Dark Nights series. In this Dirty Filthy Fix we meet Patricia, Hudson Pierce’s so prim and proper secretary. Who on Saturday nights goes to sex parties where she very strict rules on how she conducts herself.Then she meets Nathan Sinclair who is a partner at the same company as Donovan Kincaid from Dirty Filthy Rich Men Duet. Immediately Trish is attracted to Nate as soon as they meet at one of Saturday night Open Door sex parties, so she knows he is no stranger to dirty kinky sex.What Trish doesn’t expect is the connection she feels for him. At the parties Trish never takes off her mask, so she gobsmacked when Nate appears for an appointment with her boss and recognises her straight away.I don’t know how Laurelin does it, as always I was glued to my steaming kindle as this book is HOT and filthy goes without saying.This is a novella, but it didn’t feel like it. It never felt rushed and for the commitment phobe like Trish and their unconventional outlook on life The road to their HEA. was travelled along in a less traditional route which fitted the couple well. I can’t recommend this book enough, it’s a great edition to Laurelin’s Dirty Filthy, and Fixed universes. I can’t wait for the Audio copy so I can enjoy it all again.

A very unusual love story but never the less very enjoyable . Trisha worked as a P.A to the gorgeous Hudson Pierce but most Saturday nights she attends Open Door sex parties where like minded people indulge in their sexual fantasies usually with masks on so no one knows the others identity . On one Saturday she notices a new man at one such party who intrigues her and after kissing him she realises that she wants more from him ,but she decides to go home alone . In work the following week she is shocked to discover that the mysterious man who’s name is Nate has an appointment with her boss as they were both wearing masks she thinks that he doesn’t recognise her but of course he does . The attraction between them is very strong so it’s not long before they indulge in hot and heavy action . In my opinion I felt that the ending was left open but non the less I suppose given their ideas on a relationship without commitment it couldn’t have ended any other way .

Sometimes a Dirty Filthy Fix is all that's required and this Novella absolutely delivers that.I do feel a wee bit cheated though as I wish Nate's story was a bit longer so we could get to know more about his past.Still an excellent story and great writing.

.... When I seen this book was attached to Hudson Pierce, I one-clicked!! I love Laurelins stories - especially the Pierce Men (if you haven't read Hudson's story as well as Chandlers you are seriously missing out!)Anyway, back to this book... Patricia - Hudson's long time receptionist - who we meet throughout all the books, we know nothing really of her, just that she works for Hudson but when Laurelins involved and if we go by Norma's story, there will be kink involved😁And kink there was! Very sexual short story, good chemistry, I'll admit Tricia did annoy me a bit but only because Nate is Hot with a capital H and seems to really like her.I won't say much more, it's a great read, it's a sexy read and it's a book that shouldn't be read in public!!
