Disappointed
I had high hopes for this, but there are so few stitches in it that it is almost useless for me. Instead has a lot of information that I really didn’t need instead of a concise list of commonly used stitches with simple directions.

Pretty ideas
The information is helpful. The pictures of the stitches are actual photos which are nice. The pieces of her work presented in this book are shown but only in part, not the pieces in its entirety. It would have been nice to see the whole piece even if they were done in small photos.

Absolutely an amazing book for beginners.
I was a bit worried with some of the reviews but I ordered the book anyways. I was able to read the book in one sitting and follow up on doing all the stitches in the book. The instructions are clear with pictures on how to do the stitches. It made learning so easy that I got through them the same night and a month later I can do the stitches fairly well. I’m not perfect and never will be but each time I do the stitch again, I do it better. And if I can’t remember how to do a stitch or if I’m not home, it fits in a medium ziplock bag with everything else I am taking with me. Absolutely would recommend to a beginner or someone who doesn’t know a wide variety of stitches. This book also builds your confidence to learn more stitches that go beyond this book. It’s a win-win!
