Bernat Blanket Yarn, Plum Fields

I love this yarn and this particular color is absolutely stunning with the mix of colors that flow into each other. It is easy to work with, is super soft and the blankets I have crocheted are all nice and warm and on the heavier side.

I love this yarn - it's become my "ol' reliable" for crocheting plushies. It's pretty, soft, and thick - perfect for making stuffed animals to snuggle. The durability is iffy - when you frog, you may find that this yarn falls apart or loses its plush look (or pulling magic circles tightly). Fast to work with, and great results!

Big fan of Bernat Blanket yarn; it's been my go-to for home projects, like crochet baskets, and afghan blankets for many years. I've also made countless hats and scarves from this brand/style of yarn. I ordered this color to go along with a medium red and light cream shades for a Valentine's-inspired blanket. It's a nice combination that will go well for other times of year, too. The yarn is soft and lofty, doesn't shed, and launders well if you keep it away from much heat. Air dry or very low heat and pull out of the dryer quickly. It's a good yarn for beginners and is considered forgiving. I tend to use hook sizes L, M, or N depending on the pattern I've chosen.

For starter's this has very recently become my go to yarn. Love the texture, size and colors. My hands are larger with longer fingers than my contemporaries, moving to a #6 yarn has made a world of difference and made crocheting enjoyable. This size yarn and thickness is easier for me to work with. The hook I use is an acrylic 12mm one which I find quite comfortable to hold. I like the weave of the blanket it creates too with the 12mm hook. Am planning to subscribe to this. I use one skein to make one blanket for rescue pups seeking homes.

This yarn is so beautiful. It’s easy to work with and it has a good weight. I believe it will be durable in all my projects. It makes my crocheting go faster! Plus, the softness is amazing.

This yarn is perfect for making blankets! The color is exactly as shown here as well! Super soft! It doesn’t shed once crocheted, not sure about after washing!

Yarn was as expected as far as thickness, color, no shedding, and knot strength. I didn't find any factory knots in the first skein (not sure about second skein, yet). I like bernat yarn to crochet up quick blankets. However, there was an off-putting odor. So much so, I decided to leave it in my freezing garage to hopefully get rid of the smell so I can crochet with it without constantly smelling the odor. Also felt like I needed to wash my hands due to weird smell.

I find it to be very consistent and easy to knit. Making baby blankets that are soft and cozy.

I was so excited to try Bernat finally. First of all, Amazon sent me only one skein instead of two, but they were very nice and we managed to solve the issue quickly. Then I was quite disappointed in the yarn. Some parts of the skein are very soft and good to work with, but a lot of parts are flat, as if most of the fluffy part is missing, and it burns my tension finger! I know a little inconsistency can happen in a skein, but this was way too much.

The yarn came just as described. In great condition and this is a solid quality.

Ich hatte diese Wolle (andere Farben) schon öfters bei Stuff_4 aus den USA bestellt. Lieferung schneller als angegeben. Es wurde kein Zoll erhoben (4 Knäuel). Ware kam einwandfrei an und ist trotz Auslandversandkosten noch günstiger als in der EU. Die Wolle ist eine Art Chenille (fusselt nicht), super weich und angenehm zu verarbeiten. Gerade Decken werden damit wirklich toll.

Found about 2 knots per ball which was annoying, but the yarn was soft and fluffy! Used 2 balls for a throw blanket of about 1.2m by 0.5m
