Used this white grout pen to refresh our master bathroom counter tile and shower circa 1990. The grout was still in place but was discolored. It worked wonderfully! I used a paper towel to wipe off any overlap on the tile as I worked. I definitely recommend!

This is one of those products that has a lot of upsides but several downsides. To preface, I have a roughly 20-square-foot white tile floor in my apartment bathroom. When I moved in, the grout was very discolored and made the tile look dirty. I was extremely skeptical about this product, but it was a reasonably priced solution and a top seller on Amazon, so I gave it a shot. I followed the very simple directions on the pen (clean floors, remove cap, shake pen, use), and was initially amazed by the results. My nearly gray tile grout was being transformed back to white. Although, after I got through about 6 square-feet of tile, the pen tip started to fall apart. Was it still usable? Yes. Did it hinder the quality of the paint job? Also yes. Additionally, the paint ran out much quicker than expected. I was able to get a single coat on the entire tile floor, but the 60 meters of coverage they claim is a little far fetched. Nonetheless, my tile floors look good. A couple tips (no pun intended): get two pens because the coverage is less than advertised, apply 2 coats, REALLY clean the floors before you start (I didn’t deep clean nearly enough and the grime made the paint job much harder), consider another solution unless you have white tile as well (I feel as if this pen would not be great if you needed to be precise), and don’t push as hard on the tip to increase the pen’s longevity. A lifesaver. No matter what I used or how hard I scrubbed, I couldn't get my shower grout clean (hard water). Well this was my next resort and it worked beautifully, like brand new. Easy to use and it only took 20 minutes to do my whole shower.

Doesn't last long. It is good to do a quick clean up job and make the grout look new. But it fades quickly especially after a mop.

These grout pens work great they whiten in between the lines, which is hard to clean and get white. I use these all the time. I would recommend.

Previously, I’ve tried to scrub this 15 year-old grout within an inch of its life to get the stains out. Finally decided to do a grout pen to avoid having to grind and replace all of the original grout. I truly wish I’d have done this so much sooner! Application was extremely easy, and I even used my fingers on some parts to make sure that it got really into the grout lines. This is only a one coat difference! I will be buying a second pen, just because I ran out right at the end and also will probably go over a few spots that we’re especially stained. I didn’t have to worry about being messy because I was able to go back and easily clean up the run over. I just used a sponge and water to scrub my tiles clean.

I have bought this here before and am extremely pleased with it. I mistakenly had wide white grout put in between my floor tiles years ago. Don’t ever do that!! In areas that have a lot of traffic the grout gets dirty, stained and not so nice looking. The 1st time I ordered this I was amazed at the whole overall look of my tile. I mainly have to do this in the kitchen. There really is no smell to contend with. I bought the narrow and the wide one this time and did the entire kitchen in a couple of hours. I have a rolling seat like auto workers and so it’s much easier to sit on that and roll around. I first use the wide one and have a rag handy to wipe over the tile that I don’t want it on. Then I follow up with the narrow one to get any areas I missed with the wide one. This is all not hard but I am glad to have my rolling stool as it would be tough to bend over the whole time or to sit or kneel. I will buy it again when I need it!

I was sceptical, but this product really delivers. My shower looks brand new! Very easy to use, just shake it up and start filling in lines. The narrow nib means there is nothing to clean up either. I highly recommend this product, exceeded expectations.
