Colonel Conk Model 120 Moustache Wax, Comb, and Scissors

The box could have used some help... it just looks plain. Anyway, this gift box is perfect for a classy dude that has a moustache! My husband got this for Valentine's day and loved it!

Just for the moment, forget the cheap metal scissors and the even cheaper white plastic comb and instead focus on the "wax"... if you can call it that! This crud is DEFINITELY NOT Mustache Wax. It doesn't seem as if there is any wax in it at all though the ingredients listed on the jar are Petroleum Jelly, Paraffin Wax and Fragrance.So, with that in mind, why is the product not called Col' Cruds Mustache Jelly? It would be more honest, but on the other hand, who the hell wants a shiny, gooey mustache?Seriously... Petroleum Jelly is the primary ingredient? The primary ingredient should be WAX... and speaking of wax, Col Crud's "wax" is just crappy paraffin, not bees wax. Most deceptive of all is the image on the jar of a man with a handlebar mustache. The only way you will have a handlebar mustache if you put this crud on is if the mustache is made of plastic and glued on...I could have requested a refund/return, and that would be free as I am a Prime member, but I decided instead to just chuck this "wax" in the bin, keep the cheap scissors/comb as a backup and went to Etsy.com where I ordered four different small tins (each smaller than the jar of Col. Conk's Crud, but a hundred times better) from four different sellers, paid about the same amount for them all as I did Col. Crud's crap and only about a sawbuck worth of shipping combined. Each of those I bought are made of real bees wax.

If you have never trimmed your facial hair with these kind of scissors you are in for a whole new world of awesomeness. Comb is great too. The mustache wax is not my favorite but it gets the job done. I prefer a little more of a stiff hold, this wax is fine though if you want a semi relaxed hold.

The product was absolutely terrible and came to me all destroyed in the box. DO NOT BUY. you can buy the scissor (which rusted) and the comb at Walmart for less than 4 bucks. The wax was also terrible. No hold to it.
