Needed a way to reduce the signal down a bit to prevent the modem from range finding, this worked perfect. I did also buy the end caps to seal off the other splits that I was not using, but otherwise it was a plug in, reset, and go with no issues since.The previous splitter was only 2 way split with 3.5 dB each, which left my signal slightly higher than ideal. This keeps it right around 5dB for all channels.

Works as described. Commscope is a well respected brand in the telco industry and they deliver here for sure.I put my modem on the -3.5 db leg and put my cable boxes on the -7 db legs. Works well. I would not advise putting the modem on the -7 db legs as you want your upstream power levels on the modem to be in the mid 40s if you're on Comcast, etc.

When we had our cable installed the installer used a 4 way splitter. Since we only have two TVs and a modem, I thought this would improve the signal. It didn't make a noticeable change, but I would still recommend it.

Great for a home with a couple of TVs and a High Speed Modem. I replaced my Cox provided balanced splitter with this unbalanced splitter to send more signal to our cable modem. Use the -3.5db port for your modem and it gets half the signal from your single incoming line to your home or office. TVs typically can use less signal than a cable modem so the unbalanced splitter is the way to go.

Works perfectly for my Internet and 2 TV's .. Solved my slow internet speed with this.. now running full speed!

Great splitter for extended HD tv bandwidth.Problem: My cable TV feed was tiling very badly on certain channels and on the video on demand service.Solution: This splitter. By replacing my old cable tv splitter with this splitter, the signal strength to the TV's was greatly improved--better image quality across the range of channels, and video on demand that doesn't choke. Worth the money.

These splitters provide a good clear picture with no distortion. Even when one feed goes through multiple splitters, there is no signal loss or distortion of the TV picture.
