A Delightful Game Where Artistic Skills Are Optional!
If you've ever wished for a game where you can showcase your creativity without worrying about your less-than-masterful drawing skills, Telestrations Original 8-Player is here to make your dreams come true! This family board game is a whimsical whirlwind of laughter and imagination that promises endless fun for both kids and adults. Let’s dive into the magic of Telestrations. The game starts with a word or phrase that each player must draw, and then hilariously interpret based on the subsequent drawings. Sounds simple, right? But the real fun begins when your artistic “masterpieces” are passed around, leading to interpretations that are often delightfully off-the-wall. It’s a delightful spectacle of miscommunication and creativity that will have everyone in stitches! Now, if you’re like me and you’ve ever been labeled as “artistically challenged” (or if you simply want to avoid being compared to Picasso), this is the game for you. Forget about your fears of sketching skills—Telestrations embraces your quirky, imperfect drawings with open arms and turns them into comedic gold. It’s all about the joy of the journey and the hilarious results that come from it. The game is beautifully designed for up to 8 players, making it perfect for family gatherings, game nights with friends, or even a party where you’re looking to break the ice. The components are top-notch, with dry-erase boards and markers that make it easy to jump right into the fun. The only thing you need to bring is your sense of humor! In summary, Telestrations Original 8-Player is a whimsical, laughter-filled adventure where drawing skills take a backseat to creativity and fun. Whether you’re a budding artist or someone who thinks their doodles resemble stick figures, this game guarantees a fantastic time. So grab your markers, embrace your inner Picasso (or stick-figure artist), and get ready for a game night that will leave you and your friends laughing long after the final sketch is made!

Non-Stop Laughs - This Game is a Party Must-Have!
Okay, let me tell you, Telestrations is one of my favorite party games. We played it at our last friend's gathering, and I don't think I've laughed that hard in ages! It's basically the telephone game, but with drawings instead of whispers, and the results are absolutely hilarious. Like, seriously, tears-streaming-down-your-face funny. Even if you think you can't draw (and trust me, I'm no Picasso!), that's kind of the point! The worse the drawings, the funnier the misinterpretations. We had everything from a "birthday cake" that turned into a "fire hydrant" to a "squirrel" that somehow morphed into a "flying taco." It's just pure, unadulterated fun for everyone, no matter their age or artistic ability. The 8-player version is great, but honestly, if you usually have bigger groups, definitely go for the 12-player version. We had a few people sitting out and wishing they could join, and I can only imagine how much more chaotic and hilarious it would be with more players. It's perfect for game nights, parties, or just a fun get-together with friends. If you're looking for a game that will have everyone laughing until their sides hurt, Telestrations is a definite winner! Five stars, no question!

Hilarious and Fun for All Ages!
Telestrations is a guaranteed good time! We haven't laughed that hard in forever!! It’s like a drawing version of Telephone, and the results are always hilarious — especially with bad artists (which makes it even better). Super easy to learn, great for families or parties, and perfect for all ages. Highly recommend for game night!

One of the most fun games I've ever played despite some quality issues
This will leave you in tears of laughter. It's the best game to come along in I don't know how long. Play is simple, and no matter how good or poor an artist players are, if they can scribble on paper, practically anyone in your group can get involved regardless of age. It is appropriate for all ages in that it is clean, but the very youngest children will probably not often understand the word or phrase they will have to draw if you're thinking of including them. I think children as young as 8 are able to play without it being too challenging; if they get a word they don't understand, tell them to choose one of the words the know. There are some issues with the low quality dry erase markers and the tiny microfiber cloths each person receives to wipe their book clean. If you leave the cap off too long, say during one complete round of play, the marker tip dries up a bit and won't draw. I made the mistake of putting the cap on and giving it a couple of shakes only to have virtually all the ink become deposited in the cap, making a terrible black, inky mess that resulted in throwing out the pen. You'd think they could include higher quality marking pens for what the game costs. Go ahead and purchase some decent quality dry erase markers to keep with your game and throw the original ones out. Don't bother using the tiny cleaning cloths. They will quickly become covered in dried marker residue and not be very effective. Have a box of plain tissue on hand instead. Make sure all the pages in each booklet are erased before putting the game away or the marks will be very difficult to remove and leave behind a faint stain. We only use the timer if there is anyone being a meticulous artist and repeatedly holding up game play. If all the contents of the box were better quality, I would have rated it better for value, but as it stands, the game only gets its material value from the cards and booklets. I still highly recommend this game, though, because it is hilariously fun to play!

Really fun; no reservations
This is a super fun game for the whole family and for all ages. It is one of few party games that's accessible and fun to both young children and older adults. Many times I've played this in groups that included both 7-year-olds and 70-year-olds. Lots of fun all around. Younger kids appreciate that older folks are not especially better than them at this game :) The build quality of the materials that come with the game are great. I wish it came with a larger set, though. There are 8 notebooks/markers in the kit, but the game gets more fun with an even larger group (I've played with 20 before).

Great fun for 6, 7 or 8 people only
QUICK SUMMARY: This game is a lot of good, clean fun and really delivers a lot of laughs. But it'll only be really fun for 6, 7 or 8 people. We played this game last night during our New Year's Eve party. We had a houseful of people, and couldn't break this game out until late in the evening, shortly before midnight, when the crowd thinned to just those families who were going to ring in the new year with us. That's an important point, because this game only works well with 6, 7 or 8 people, I think. You can play with fewer, but the results won't be as fun because the chances for the gameplay to go awry are fewer (going awry = funny outcomes). You can't play with more than 8, as that's the maximum number that the game is equipped to play. What I LIKED: - It leads to unpredictable, sometimes very hilarious outcomes, as people try to guess one another's sketches. - It kept everyone's interest level up who were playing. In fact, we had too many people who wanted to play, so we swapped people in-and-out so more than 8 could experience game play. - Once everyone got the hang of it, game play is pretty easy to do. It does take a strong game facilitator to LITERALLY make sure that "everyone is one the same page," especially at the very beginning. - Game length for an 8-person game was about right, that is, about 90 minutes. Long enough to really enjoy the game, not too long that it gets boring. What I DON'T like: - The game will only be really fun for 6, 7 or 8 dedicated players. Too few, and the outcomes aren't as funny. The game limit is 8, and you really wouldn't want to play with more than that, because it takes a while for each person to share his or her own sketchbook story at the end of a full round. It's not a great party game for larger parties. - Young kids can't play it (well, anyway). The recommended age is 13+, as you need to have a fair amount of knowledge to recognize the words (like, "Cleopatra"), and to spell words that younger kids won't know how to spell (even phonetically). I like that we didn't have any words leading to R-rated (or worse) sketches. - It can be challenging to make sure everyone knows what to do, whether they're guessing a word or sketching a word. In three rounds of play with 8, we had one time where a sketchbook got screwed up because someone earlier didn't erase one page of their sketchbook. CONCLUSION: If you have the sweetspot of 6, 7 or 8 players who are 13+ years old, this game will deliver great results. It's a good game to have in your arsenal of party games, but you won't be able to pull it out at every event you host.

Buen juego
Es un juego genial, aunque viene en inglés no es ningún problema ya que las palabras son fáciles. La única pega es que compré el de 8 jugadores y me llegó el de 6.
