Avaya Partner 6 Phone Black

Refurbished, well packed, clean, minimal signs of wear. New phone and handset cables. Unpacked and assembled and it didn't work. Very disappointed so I set it aside thinking I would need to return it. After about a week I decided to try again and do a bit more trouble shooting. What I found, is that the phone cable (RJ11) they supplied had two wires and did not work in my phone system, I have Cat 6 cabling in my office. I had some spare 4 wire RJ 11 cables and now the phone works great. You can also use Cat 6 cable and works fine. I think that if you have the old ATT copper Cat 3, a two wire RJ 11 will work, but not with Cat 6. Great price.

Phone was what I expected, it worked fine. I was miffed when I discovered the coiled handset cord was not included.

Came in broken. Only works when on speaker. Handset doesn't work at all which defeats the purpose of a stationary phone.

Good workhorse extension if you are running a partner based system and have limited space and do not need a digital display.At this time we are not linking e mail to voice mail-so this technology is still relevant for us

We have an old telephone system in the office, and Partner 6 phones are compatible. These are exactly like the others we've had for years.
