Bought these to use on bushes and low tree branches in-between lawnmower visits. My husband was not interested in trimming back the low branches. I needed a light weight cutter, easy for me as a 5"2' 100 pound female. I found these shears were very easy to manipulate and got the job done easily and quickly. They work well, yard looks so much better.. great for trimming the smaller bushes. Definitely would buy again..well made..sturdy. Easy to hang on hook on wall.

These hedge shears are great!!! Well made and cut easy. I’m older so they feel just a tad heavy but I like them and enjoy good workmanship! Highly recommend… good price for such good quality!!

Great tool, a bit heavy but gets the job done.

These clippers seem pretty well built and sturdy. The performed pretty well when I used them on a rose bush. The bent blade made it seem like proper ergonomics would be subconsciously employed for hedge trimming. The half inch stalks took an extra chop to get though. I ordered the adjustable handled set, and was sent the non-adjustable. I was able to get the right ones sent without issue.

Okay, very surprised of the quality at this price-point for these shears. I would expect to pay much more at a hardware store for these. They cut very nicely into sizable bush limbs. They are somewhat on the heavy side as compared to cheaper models of shears. For an elderly person, perhaps Fiskars has a lighter version so that your arms don't get tired from usage. They extend in length. The pics that I have attached show non-extended and extended. Very good purchase!

I ordered these pruning shears to snip plants here and there between landscaping appointments. The shears arrived safely packaged and are as described. The blades are sharp and fit comfortably. We had a very snowy winter, and I had to prune and tidy up some branches that had snapped under the weight of snow. I used these shears yesterday and I can safely state that they did the job wonderfully. (Hint for Storage: The shears arrive with cardboard over the blades. I reinforced the cardboard with masking tape so that I could keep this and use it as a "blade" cover.)

This is perfect for my garden needs. I love that it extends and is self-sharpening.

These shears are very well made. The cutting blades are 9 inches long and they are made of solid steel. The pivot can be tightened with a wrench and the closing stop underneath has a steel on steel contact so it’s built to last. The handles can be lengthened 6 inches by lifting the plastic side pieces and sliding them down. If these shears are going to “blow up” this is where it will happen ( no slide…no worry ). The grips are made of durable rubber and they are comfortable. There is a hole 3 inches down on one of the cutting blades so that you can hang them from a nail. These are heavy duty…not light in any way. ( I have a pair of Fiskars branch loppers of similar size that have lasted 20 years and they’re still going strong. )
