Love!
The delivery team were polite and efficient, in and out with no time wasted. The box was damaged, and I figured, "Yup, my storage compartment is damaged too." It is. But it's a small hole and isn't visible until the seat is lifted to gain access. The couch was fairly easy to assemble by myself, although I did struggle with one of the arms...a quick call to my dad for some advice on why the bolt wasn't seating properly and I was back on track. I will say I don' t like the fact that there aren't precut holes in the fabric. It was easy enough to find where the bolts went, but unless a hole was cut, strings and fibers wrapped around the bolts making it difficult to tighten them.Overall I love the sleek clean look of the couch and it fits beautifully in my apartment living room, much nicer than a clunky futon! I love the firmness of the cushions. The throw pillow...stuffing...will be replaced with actual pillow forms at some point, I was a little disappointed by those, but the covers are beautiful and the material is nice and soft to the touch.I would happily recommend this couch to anyone looking for a good piece of furniture.

Read, Read assembly instructions first...before assembling, then follow them step by step exactly.
The couch is beautiful. Firm, solid. The couch arrived while I was away, My husband took it up on himself to assemble the couch on his own, and had some difficulty with the assembly (do to not reading the assembly instructions first) but managed to overcome his difficulties after reading the instructions. The Couch is solid, firm, and stiff. Not soft, plush or squishy at all. So if your looking for plush softness for your toosh or back this in not the couch for you. We chose this couch for it's firmness, and the fact it converts to a bed for overnight guests. We like the fact that there are no loose coushions to slide off or get squished out of shape. My husband says "it sits like a firm couch...not a frame with a squishy coushion on it." My husband was impressed with the construction and craftsmanship of this couch. We have had the couch for a month now, We use this couch everyday. Both my husband and myself are happy with this couch. We would purchase this couch again gladly.

I do not really want to rate this because my review will is not good
When I received the sofa the box was terribly damaged. I could see some of the damages to the sofa through the torn-up box it came in. The sofa has a hole in the back and the storage area was badly damaged due to the handling of the item. When my husband and I tried to put the arms on the sofa there were missing screws and bolts. My husband tried to get replacement screws at the hardware store but the screws to the sofa are unique and can only be provided by the company that makes the sofa. I am supposed to receive another sofa by Friday and perhaps have a better review than this. I was very disappointed with the purchase. On the positive side of this, the sofa is beautiful and sturdy. The comfort is great. My only problem with this sofa was the damages and missing accessories.

ARRIVED DAMAGED!! (okay other than that it really is a nice couch)
Ugh! I *really like this couch* but it arrived damaged. But the box did not show damage. Here's what happened:I paid extra (when I purchased this on Amazon) to have this couch "professionally delivered by experts" to the exact room I specified. This meant upstairs (to my apartment) and into a second room (where it sits now). I knew better than to believe I could haul it up the stairs myself or successfully wrestle it into the far room. I even tipped the delivery guys! I examined the outside of the (giant!) box and everything looked okay. I got a box cutter and carefully cut the straps and tape, unfolded the box, and immediately saw the problem. The box was undamaged and showed no signs of being kicked, but the bottom of the couch (* presswood, or "fiberboard" *) was caved in as if someone side kicked the box really REALLY hard.I was lucky that the box was delivered upside down, so that when I opened it the damaged side was up and easy to see, even before I touched anything inside the box. So I called Amazon. Amazon was amazing (no, really: they were beyond helpful). Amazon took excellent care of me. They asked if I wanted to return it (how do you return a couch in an open box?) or offered me a *sizeable discount.* I thought about it and thought (and they waited on the phone), I wanted this couch but undamaged . . . I finally caved and took the discount and decided I would not use the storage part under the couch. The rest of the couch works just fine. It is comfortable to sit in, and makes a decent bed. Really, a double sized bed I think (like a twin but wider). It really looks nice (just like in the pictures), and I can upload pictures of the damaged parts (I took those right away), but that would just be depressing. as long as I don't try to use the storage space under the couch I forget that it is beyond repair. They really should use REAL WOOD instead of that stupid particle board. The funny thing is that I bought this bed even after reading one or two complaints from other buyers. I wanted a comfortable "bed" that folded into a nice looking couch, and I am not a fan of futons (they are not comfortable mattresses).Okay, last bit. I had to shove my couch against the wall, as if you have it set up (like a couch and not laid flat like a bed) and lean back, it is a bit "too easy" to make it flatten out. Shoving it up against a wall solves this problem, but that was not my original placement idea. So, all in all, really really nice looking couch; good bed!; and . . . well the rest. 3, maybe three and a half stars out of five. If yours magically comes undamaged and you do not lean back very much, you might rate yours 4.5 stars.

Great looking sofa
This couch looks great. I love the storage space. I am not giving it 5 stars because there were no instructions in the box and it took me time to think about finding them online. The assembly was easy, but for myself with a herniated disk and my 85 year old mother the work was too heavy. The box was received a torn mess but the couch was wrapped well so it was not damaged. The pillows that came with the couch were pieces of junk. Very sparsely filled with small blocks of foam, they did not have any covers at all even though it was pictured. Very cheap pillows and inappropriate for a $700 sofa.
