CapellaFlavor Drops BOSTON CREAM PIE 13ml

This was unexpectedly good. I ordered this to shop around different flavor companies given that a lot of companies have flavors they do really well while having others they don't do quite as well with.This flavor is ridiculously good. I use this for vegan shakes that are only 75 calories or so despite filling an entire 4 cup mason jar. You can really taste the chocolate and cream, it's really interesting how much depth the flavor has to it which is a common theme I've noticed with all of the Capella flavors I've tried thus far. It makes a truly decadent shake that is nearly 4 cups and with the recipe I've converged on is less than 100 calories and contains no sugar whatsoever.I use an array of artificial sweeteners at low quantities each as I suspect that artificial sweeteners can be averaged together much in the same way that ensemble inferencing works with machine learning, where you use multiple neural networks and average the results in a bag of models type scenario, but in this case, a bag of sweeteners >.> mixing in a bit of real sugar puts it over the top, but its beyond delicious even without. I use 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk and 1 cup of unsweetened oat milk, the artificial sweeteners (pick and choose I use all the main ones in low quantities), and then use xanthan gum which I coat with the flavoring concentrate (not sure if that does anything but given that xanthan gum thickens the overall liquid by mixing in I felt it was possible that it could act as a sort of delivery mechanism for the flavoring by coating the xanthan gum with it first lol). After that I just blend, and what comes out is probably the most delicious shake I've ever had, including the milkshakes I had as a kid when I wasn't vegan. Actually, it's almost becoming a problem as the shakes are too delicious and don't have many calories despite being extremely filling so I have to make a point to eat enough during the day. Kinda feels like a cheat code for losing weight, and with flavors like this, its just perfect.

Haven’t received it yet. Hoping it will be the same quality that I can occasionally buy in Walmart. They are few & far between in the store. Sometimes have to wait months to get one, calling all the time to see if they came in. It’s my favorite cake & it freezes well

I have bought and like many of this brand's flavor products. Tried this one, and even when using double the amount I use of other one, couldn't taste it.

Not exactly what I had hoped for, but good. Now, to be honest, I am not using them in baking, I was originally trying to tone the taste of plain yogurt. I am by no means a baker, but I'm going to say they are much better suited for that type of application. After the yogurt didn't work, I did try them in a simple non bake "treat" recipe and they were much better, so I'm sure with proper application the taste would be enhanced.

Wonderful drops they taste just like the real thing!!

The flavoring was alright.I will not buy this flavor again.
