The Fiery Cross[FIERY CROSS][Mass Market Paperback]

I read this for the second time to coincide with the Starz season. I'm glad I did because I got the full picture of what really happened. I am a big Gabaldon fan and have all the books. I just ordered the Outlandish Companion, Volume 2.

This was an extremely long book, and reminded me of a James A. Michener book in this way, and in it's included historical detail of life in the 1770's in America. I really enjoyed it, though it took me a few weeks to finish. Mysteriously, some of the main characters had also lived in the 1980's, which is exposed in tidbits thought out the book. Some of the dialog was incomprehensible to me as it was written in a Scottish brogue.I just realized that this is a part of a series of books, and now I plan to buy the first one in the series to read next.
