POSITIV Rodney Jones Monster Series Skateboard Assembly

This board is excellent, and just for such a low price also! Though the preview image of the skateboard shows positiv trucks and wheels, I received mini logo trucks and wheels. In spite of the fact that the preview image of the board was misleading, there was no problem with the trucks, and the wheels rolled very smoothly. I also had to tighten the bearings on the first day because the board as a bit wobbly. Overall this board has great quality and I would recommend this brand to more beginning skaters in my city.

This skateboard has lasted me so long! Bought it TWO years ago and yet it is still in good condition and works just as it should. There are many parts that construct a skateboard, so I'll go through the quality of each of them.The wooden board (the deck) is 5 ply. It would be better if it was 7 ply, but 5 works fine. The wood is durable and the design on the bottom looks fantastically flashy.The griptape of this board works well. It keeps your feet from sliding off, nothing special here.The shocks and trucks are long lasting. Shocks are used to absorb the normal impacts while running over pebbles and other objects while skateboarding. I am in love with both the shocks and the trucks!Finally are the wheels and bearings. Both of these are surprisngly still in good shape. People have told me that the overall skateboard is very nice, despite it being two years old.

I got this board because I need another board for skate camp. It is cheap and better than more expensive Wal-Mart boards, and is mostly comprised of Mini-Logo parts. I think of this as a Mini Logo more than a POSITIV because everything is Mini Logo except for the board. Good purchase for beginners or as a cheap back-up board.

It's been a while since I bought this board, and I've ridden it enough by now to say it rides wonderfully. Turns great and it's pretty sturdy.

Bought it for my 7 yrs old boy who does board in a skateboard park. Bought positiv on recommendation of his trainer. This skateboard is awesome, fast & turns easily. Board, wheels & truck are of decent quality. Wheels have Minilogo stamp (i.e. built by minilogo) but i don't see a reason to hate it, they are good built. Best part was that it came completely assembled. Its about $60, bit expensive but worth it!!The first board that i had bought for him from a large retail chain for under $20 was a hindrance in learning, it was slow and turning was very difficult (trucks have hard plastic instead of rubber).

Good deck, wheels, trucks, decent concave and great bearings.Honestly, I haven't skated since I was around 10/11 (Now 18) but this was a great place to start again, especially on a budget. It was like riding a bike. But, obviously it's nothing for an experienced skater, it was only 33$ after all. BUT, for only 33$, after looking around for a while, I will guarantee you couldn't find a better deal for a complete.

It came already assembled and the wheels run smooth. A great first board. Yet a very unfortunately terrible design. I laugh about it though.

This is my first actual skateboard, and it arrived assembled. I like the deck and griptape (both completely new), but my wheels are Mini Logo ones, not POSITIV wheels (as the product description says). I also have Mini Logo trucks, not POSITIV ones, so the product description is kind of misleading. I have a smooth ride on concrete, and a slightly uncomfortable and noisy one on asphalt. The trucks actually have some chips/scratches on them, but that might be because I bought the "Used - Like New" version from the Amazon Warehouse. However, these are all not enormous issues for me because I am a beginner.I am, however, irked that the price is now only 66% of what I spent on it last week!
