I bought this as a recommendation from a set a stainless steel cookware I just bought; it was on the manufacturer’s suggestions for cleaning them. Call me an ignorant but I never heard of this marvel before. The name sounded funny but I came to Amazon anyway and saw all the outrageous reviews and gave it a try. U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E ¡!! All the time I have been using metal polishers and cleaning paste to clean stainless steel, with good results but sometime with a lot of work to remove some of the most stubborn burnt-outs. With Bar Keepers is not only a breeze but the results are way better. I cleaned all the 8 pieces set in about 15 minutes, and then I cleaned the sink and I swear it looked like the day we installed it 6 years ago, it was so shiny that you had to wear sunglasses to look at it. Given the magnificent success I decided to try it on a few other cleaning projects: To clean the Outside of Anodized Aluminum cookware. Finally I was able to easily remove those oil spills that stick to the outside of the cookware with a few dashes of this product. I’ve used all sorts of techniques, hot water, liquid soap, powder soap even putting them on the dishwasher and the spills remained, once there and burned in they become almost permanent. But not for Bar Keepers! To clean the burn out stains on the steel burners of a gas stove. If you are cooking on a modern gas stove and oil goes into the silver rims surrounding the burners, it will immediately burn and create a brown stain very hard to remove, the sudden chemical reaction on the very hot surface creates an almost enamel oily cover on the steel surface. Before, I had to use glass cook top cleaner, a soft abrasive pad and plenty of elbow grease to remove them, a real hassle. For Bar Keepers, a small amount of powder and water enough to create a paste, some rubbing with a cloth and done, like brand new. It is also great to clean the black iron grates and pieces on the kitchen To remove soap scum from a natural stone shower floor. No deep scrubbing necessary, just enough powder and some water and it will remove most of it with light pressure. I had to use some extra pressure on some of the scum on the grout, but nothing extraordinary In conclusion, an amazing product, probably the best all out cleaner available, countless uses, very easy to apply, no residue and very low price. And just strong enough to clean, soft enough to do not damage most surfaces

This stuff is AMAZING! Seriously... INSANE! I was going crazy over my bathtub floor looking disgustingly dirty. The flooring has a non slip texture on it that holds so much dirt. I moved into a house (it’s a rental!) and the tub floor has been driving me nuts for the last month- so dirty. Hard to imagine taking a peaceful bath while sitting on ground-in dirt! I tried scrubbing it with cleaner and my boyfriend tried bleaching it. I heard of the Bar Keepers Friend from my mom and I thought I’d give it a try. My boyfriend said he didn’t think it would work. I’m pleasantly awaiting for him to walk in and see the shocking results. The tub now looks brand new! Spotless! Super white and no more black dirt in the no-slip-coating crevices! I used the powder cleanser & polish and used a generous amount since I knew this was a tough job. I put it on the damp floor, then let it sit about a minute. Got the floor a little more wet and let it sit a little longer before scrubbing the heck out of it! I used a firm scrub brush. I could see it was working but wanted to be sure when I rinsed it was going to be mostly gone. Oh man... it was! I’m 23 years old and have never been excited about a clean bathtub before. I am seriously so pleased with myself and this product that I had to write a review :) Bar Keepers Friend is amazing. Oh yeah, so amazing that I tried it on my pesky dishwasher when I read it could do stainless steal. I thought the bathtub was great until I did the dishwasher. Since then I’ve been giggling every time I walk in and see it shining! I took a tiny container (a plastic sauce container) and stirred some of the powder with water (with a match) - had to get creative here. Then I dabbed a paper towel in the mixture since it was kind of watery and rubbed it on the dishwasher. Soft circles at first to apply it and then I went in the direction of the grain. I went with the grain again to wipe off the solution and to dry it. Seriously it looks like a BRAND NEW dishwasher. It looked horrible before with streaks everywhere and discoloring and splotches. I tried using a stainless steal spray as well as a grease remover before and neither did a thing. This worked instantly. I can’t believe how quickly and successfully one product solved these ridiculous household issues. It’s awesome! I would 100% recommend this product to anyone. If you’re looking to cut through 80 year old rust or something, I haven’t tested that, but for the stainless steel and bathtub floor, this is the product you need!

Just shined up some 30yr old Revere Ware copper bottom pots and it's amazing. 30 years worth of oxidation and burnt who-knows-what has been cleaned up in less than 10 minutes. Had to do 2 rounds of light coating of this BKF for 95% of the gunk to be gone and decided it wasn't worth going for the 5% leftover. By my estimate, I think I used about 20-30g of material per pot, so you really don't need that much. It immediately starts working within 10 seconds and the least damaged areas of the pots shined up orangey copper while the edges require scrubbing. Instruction says to rinse after 1min, but instead I scrubbed for about 3 minutes instead. I believe it's because the instructions say that it will etch materials so if there is any protective layer, it will likely be destroyed. It is mentioned that there are micro-abrasives within the powder mix, so you can essentially treat it like liquid sandpaper and this WILL scratch surfaces. Because of this, you can probably restore some copper wire and pipes to a certain extent with this stuff, so it's not just limited to in-home but also slightly degraded construction materials. However, you will need to protect these materials almost immediately after cleaning to prevent re-oxidation. Do note that BKF contains oxalic acid which is not as strong as HCl (muriatic acid) but will still destroy your hands if you attempt to clean anything with this barehanded. Work slowly so you don't splash it everywhere because YOU REALLY DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. And absolutely do not breathe any of this powder in. Be VERY careful with it. 3x12oz cans for $8.97 is a huge bargain. Probably won't last a lifetime but it's really handy to have some extras on hand, which is why I will have 6x cans of these.

The package came with the can lid busted but I was going to use the entire can at once anyway, I have town water,rust filled, we had to drip the pipes this winter for weeks sometimes to keep pipes from freezing, the tub got horrid and I've tried to clean it, AI suggested this to get the tub wet and sprinkle , so I did that it dried then I used the Amazon brown wrapping paper I save, got it wet in the sink, sprinkled more in the tub and put the wet brown paper in the tub and up the sides to lift the rust. It worked perfect. I love it , now I want to invent a product that goes from The tub faucet to the drain , it's not a full flow to stop freezing it's a drip so I need to invent something as I think out entire town would buy one and this cleanser if the knew how great it is

Glad I found this! When I bought stainless steel pots and pans I quickly realized that they needed something powerful to keep them clean and shiny—this was perfect for that.

I got this powder cleanser to try to clean my brand new 9 inch stainless steel pan which was burned to a crisp. This was brand new pan, which I was using to make dinner one night, but I got distracted and finally realized when the house was full of smoke. The bottom of the pan was black from baked on in oil grease. I was very upset. I tried everything, including baking soda and vinegar Ajax you name it, to clean it up. And then I’ve heard about this product so I thought I can try it. This cleanser is amazing. It clean my pan so well it looks brand new. It also cleaned another pot that was burned really bad long time ago with no trace of burn marks. I would highly recommend this cleanser.

Beim neuen Edelstahlkochtopfset fürs Camping hatte ich etwas zu sehr aufgedreht beim noch im häuslichen Umfeld durchgeführten Testlauf und direkt eine braune Patina entstehen lassen, die ich nicht wegbekommen habe. Also ChatGPT nach einer Lösung gefragt und er spuckte das mir bis dahin unbekante US-Amerikanische Bar Keepers Friend aus. Als ich im Netz die Ergebnisse gesehen hatte brauchte ich das umgehend. Nur was ist das? Kein direkter Vertrieb aus den USA hier bei uns? Beim Walmart im Online-Shop bekommt man eine ->STIEGE<- (12 Dosen) für netto unter 20 USD, hier bezahle ich zumindest im zweier Set 16 EUR, was dann auch das günstige Angeobt war, das ich aufgetrieben hatte. Die Patina ist nach zwei Anwendungen verschwunden und die im Urlaub, wegen etwas weniger Reinigungsmöglichkeiten im Camper verbliebene Patina, war nach kurzer Anwendung zu Hause wieder auf "Auslieferungszustand". Man braucht auch nicht unmengen an dem Pulver. Auch Edelstahlspüle strahlte mir nach der Anwendung wieder freundlicher entgegen. Mehr noch, als den bis dahin verwendeten Putzstein mit Abperleffekt! Glaube von Hoffmann oder so ist der. Der Putzstein kostet aber auch viel weniger...
