WSB Hide A Key Realistic Rock Outdoor Key Holder - As Seen on TV

About a month ago, I was headed for my dad's singing performance and locked the front door from the inside as I was walking out. Something distracted me and I closed the door before I could check to make sure I had my car/house keys with me. I didn't. And it was a cold wintery night. The only person who could help me get back inside in the next 4-5 hours was my dad who was already at his show warming up! He drove all the way home to let me in the door and then went back to his show. I felt like a doofus and wished I had hidden a door key somewhere outside.The next day I ordered this rock key holder and it's exactly what I need. It's nothing fancy. The top side of the rock looks very realistic and the bottom is flat and has a white lid that keeps the key inside. It would be better if the lid were dark grey or black so it didn't stand out so much if for any reason the rock get's tipped over, but it works for keeping the key inside.It hides well in my garden where I placed it and yet is still easy for me to spot because of the color difference. I don't think to the naked eye anyone would know what it were though. The rock I received is a bit more whitish in color than the rock in the listing.

I am frequently locking myself out of the house so I decided it was time to get a hide-a-key. I always worry that someone would be able to recognize something fake, but this is not the case with this realistic rock key holder. it blends in right with my garden. My oldest son locked himself out recently and I was describing where the rock was. He picked up the right rock, but didn't realize it was fake and put it back down to keep looking. Very easy to use, great value. Highly recommended.

Worked well with us. Just didn't like that the sticky label at the bottom announcing that it's a Hide-away key holder can't be fully taken out :( when you turn it over it's still there. Other than that, best hideaway stone in my porch!

First let me say, yes, you get half a rock. The bottom is fitted with a plastic insert so your rock lays flat on the ground. Very easy to use and works well. It is not flimsy or lightweight. It looks realistic and works well for our needs. My only issue with this item is that it comes in a plastic bag - no box or real packaging so that you can give it as a gift.

Last hide-a-key I bought looked like a fake rock. Not this one! It looks like an actual rock. So much so that I had it sitting on my coffee table & my son asked why I was bringing rocks indoors. My only concern is that it will look so much like all the other rocks in my yard that I won't be able to find it. Still, I don't think anyone else will be able to tell there is a key inside, which is what you want in a hide-a-key.

I got this for my boyfriend as a housewarming gift before we moved, and we love having this near the porch because we're both so forgetful! We were a bit skeptical, but even our friends/family can't even see it and were surprised when we pointed it out. Will definitely be gifting this around the holidays!

Mine didn't look much like a real rock, so I'll use it out back instead of out front. Based on the reviews I purchased this one, and I do like the way it holds the key in and the way the key is protected by the plastic compartment. One unhappy purchaser claimed it was misleading and it was not the two pieces the picture showed. But once the viewer scrolls thru all the views, you see how it works and that picture was showing the top and bottom in one view.Overall, for 5 bucks.... I'm ok with it. Plus - it's not eligible for return anyway so I guess I have to be ok with it. :I

There is no bottom to the rock just a plastic piece and its about 3 inches long..........garbage

False advertisement!!!I want something to hide a key. I thought i was purchasing a rock....but instead i received a plastic that keeps the key inside the rock....and paid 10$ for that.WTH! another bs purchase gone wrong in amazon. I want my money back.

Doesnt really look a lot like a rock, but rather exactly what it is. Some resin painted greyish, but the thing is shaped like a bloody box. So while you look at all the rocks, your eye is drawn to this almost uniformly rectangle-ish rock-ish thing. It does the job if you can put it out of the way, but I wouldn't put it out in a garden bed with other smallish rocks that are any part of an attraction. If its in sight, its noticeable.

It works but the piece that covers the bottom part doesn't secure well so the bottom falls off and key falls out when you pick it up. Otherwise it looks and feels like a real rock, even the weight of it.
