Which size should I get? The 1.25 or 1.5 barrel? I want looser curls

I recommend the smaller size, which will allow you to curl larger sections at once with less time with heat on your hair. You can run your fingers through the curls to get looser curls. I have the 1" and the 1.25" and have medium/long hair that's medium fine and all one length. I use the 1.25" for body and 1" when I want more defined curls. The curls stay more defined throughout the day using the 1".

A 2 inch curling iron will give your hair some light body in your hair. Similiar to blowing drying it with big round brush. But, if you are looking for curls, I would go with a 1" or 1.5" for bigger curls. If you want tighter curls, get a 1" wand. There are all kinds of videos on how to curl long hair with wands. You can get two different looks depending on how you wrap your hair around wand. Good luck!

You should use a 1 inch barrel or bigger the bigger the barrel the looser the curl. Use an argon oil product on your hair for protection on your ends and extra shine. I like to use argon oil on WET hair because on dry hair it can make your hair greasy.
