Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Hydrolyzed Protein Small Dog Dry Dog Food, 8.8 lb

My Yorkie(f) has had skin and ear problems and bloating (internal gas accumulation) for so many years cause of which we had no idea of. But thanks to an observant vet doctor we changed her diet to this kind of hydrolyzed type and it solved all her problems. I tried other brands and this one suits her the best. I also mix her meal with canned (wet) type, which is only available from Royal Canin as far as I know. If your dog has itchy skin problem and smelly ears with lots of wax, suspect meat allergy and try this product. I only wish I had known this much earlier for my dog.

This food saved my dog. She was having bloody stool because we changed her food to blue bufallo...we wnet through hell. She pooped blood for about two weeks, we took her to the vet first time she pooped blood, changed her food to prescription, gave her antibiotics, gave her acid med and nothing made her better. We decided to buy this food and she good better on the second day of eating it. We gave her this food for a week and then changed to another roayl canin food and she is healthier than ever.Royal Canin saved my dogs life and I'll never give her any food but Royal Caninbe carefull with the food that you buy for your dog

This is an excellent food for stomache problems in dogs. My picky boy eats it. However i assumed it would be cheaper on amazon then found it locally for 1/2 the price.

My dog is allergic to EVERYTHING. (he can eat ONLY beef, lamb, eggs, milk, and barley) Because of the way it is processed, this is the only dry food the vet will okay for him to eat

If your dog has specific food allergies, this is going to be your "final" go to product. The protein molecule is broken down to such a size that it does not trigger an allergic reaction from your dog. Obviously, try eliminating all wheat, all white potato, and try a few other foods. However, if you get to the end of the line with dog food (and I did with one of my dogs), this is really your only option. That said, the kibble pieces are enormous for a small dog (despite the label for "small dogs," it isn't small enough for a Chihuahua). So, I have to use a grinder to get this to a powder form, then mix with warm water. My dog loves it and does well on it. Yes, all of the skin issues have resolved.

After a 6 month battle with urinary crystals, this food was able to help my dog be crystal-free. She didn't care much for it at first, but now eats it eagerly. Perhaps she likes being healthy?

Mi perrita caniche cursa con inflamación intestinal crónica y le recetaron alimento de proteína hidrolizada. Primero por premura compré marca HILLS (que también es muy buen producto) pero las croquetas son grandes en tamaño y le costaba masticarlas. Ahora con las ROYAL ya no tiene ese problema pues son croquetas pequeñitas, le gustaron mucho en sabor y le han caído bastante bien.

Viene bien sellado, y sin singun problema

Aunque esta un poco mas dura que la Skin Care, es mucho mejor en efecto para un perro alérgico y con problemas de digestión/piel

Excelente producto, justo lo que esperaba, mi chihuahua solo puede comer esta marca y el tamaño de croqueta es perfecto para ella, definitivamente continuaré comprando.
