Boiron Black Currant/Ribus Nigrum Herbal Supplement - 2 oz

Black Currant is a perfect topical for cuts and insect bites. Recently, I had a really bad cut on the side my foot; I probably should have had stitches. I used Neosporin for almost a week, but the cut was taking forever to heal. It's summer time and I have been swimming and wearing flip flops. Despite the use of Neosporin daily, I started to worry that the cut was infected. I remembered Black Currant and applied a few drops at night when I went to bed. After one night, the inflammation and pain was gone. On the second night, the cut was almost healed.

Another great product from Boiron! Using this for my dog current for it's anti inflammatory properties and seeing good results. Easy to administer and a trustworthy company.

I didn't notice anything, but maybe because I'm used to homeopathy, which gives dramatic results. I gave it 4 stars, though, because of the quality of the product and the fact that I have used Boiron for over 30 years...good company.

This product provides tremendous adrenal support. It's easy to take and tastes good. I take it for overall adrenal support, but my husband takes it before cross fit workouts for general support. We find it helps the whole family as a flu/cold prevention.

This thing works for inflammation. I used it for my son who has/had recurrent tonsillitis with very high fevers, suspected of PFAPA. It seems to have worked! I also take it for arthritis and reduces pain. There are many studies out there about the cortison-like properties of black currant buds (without the side effects). Before going the prescription meds route, it's worth a try.

Tastes good, not sure if works

I got this on a whim for my father who has rheumatoid arthritis and he said it greatly decreased his pain and flare ups. He has been using them ever since and recommends it to everyone
