Great Road Trip Insurance!
I haven't had a flat tire while driving except once in 54 years of driving. But with a major road trip coming up, I decided to invest in this. First off, this is an extremely well engineered product, and the quality is exceptional. If you're like me, the idea of changing a tire on the road is a nightmare. But so is waiting for a flatbed truck to come and rescue you, only to find out the nearest (and only) tire shop is closed for the night (like they all are). The jack is very sturdy, as is the lug wrench and jack lever. The tire looks like it was built for Tesla by Tesla - very high quality, and easy to handle. And it's beautiful! I took this picture after mounting the tire (wanted to try it out before our trip), which took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. Easiest spare I've ever mounted. The tire doesn't look like one of those puny little space-saver spares. More like a full-size tire, except skinnier. Of course, all the normal precautions apply - you've got to keep it aired up (most of us already carry a portable inflation pump), and you need to keep the speed down. Value for money? What does it cost to be loaded onto a flatbed truck in the middle of nowhere and hauled to the nearest town in the middle of the night? Plus an unplanned hotel room until the tire shop opens in the morning? I like the idea of being a little more in control in a bad situation. So yeah, for me, it's insurance. I hope to never use it.

Modern Spare for Tesla 3 is a great product
This is a marvelous product. I bought a Modern Spare for my Tesla 3 after having an awful flat tire experience on a busy highway late at night. The kit comes with everything you need. The jack, ratchet, lug wrench, and lug sockets are all really solid. The kit comes with multiple lug sockets of different sizes (but of course you only need the one that fits). The kit fits snugly in a nice carrying case. Not least of all, the instructions come with a QR code that allows you to download and bookmark use instructions, plus a link to a short but informative how-to video, so you can easily access them if needed. There are even plastic bags to store the dirty tire after removal so it doesn’t mess up your trunk. Three things I recommend. Changing a tire is dirty work, so have something to sit on (the spare cover or one of the plastic bags would work). Keep a pair of plastic gloves in the kit to protect your hands from grime. Watch a YouTube on how to remove the Tesla wheel cover (it’s easy but it's good to know how to do that before you have a flat). Finally, watch the instructional video and practice while your vehicle is in the garage.

Super cool
Super low profile. I’ll use it for road trips. But it will stay in the garage. It’s in a carry case so it looks clean too.

Worth the price buy it…
Fast delivery haven’t used it yet, but Teslas don’t come with a spare tire so I ended up getting this to have for an emergency. Everything came in the box great quality & I love that it come with a bag to store your tire in it’s worth the price..

Fits and installs just like it came from Tesla
I have the Long Range performance model 3. This spare wheel fit perfect as is right out of the box. I got the tire a few days ago and immediately tried it out. Better the first time at home than on the road. I also bought the jack pads and the jack fit under the car with them installed no problem. You've got to look for the hole to put the jack pad in, its a little further away from the wheel than I expected. The lug nuts all fit on the spare wheel. The only problem I had was figuring out how to take off the lug nut covers on the original wheel. A quick look at the owners manual and I found the removal tool in the glovebox and the rest was a standard tire change. It all comes in a nice package that does take up space in the trunk, but its not overly intrusive. Goes up against the back seat and still leaves room for most items you would put in the back. If you need the extra room, leave it at home and take the risk. It's not a donut tire, but not full size either. Right diameter, but skinny so takes up some room in the back. One last comment, this car is heavy. With the jack included with the spare, the last few turns to get the car up high enough were a bit difficult but do-able. The lug nut wrench removed the nuts that were factory installed with ease. All in all. I got what I paid for and am very pleased with it.

Great spare tire!
If you choose to buy the tire kit, it comes with: a scissor jack, a lug wrench, the tesla jack pads (you need these so you don't damage your car), and of course the spare tire itself. You will need all of these tools to successfully change out your tire. An important issue I do have to bring up is. **IMPORTANT** If you have a Tesla Model 3 that is a REAR WHEEL DRIVE and is in HOLD STOPPING MODE, you will find that sometimes the car will not begin breaking for you once you life your foot off the acceleration petal. Be attentive when you are driving with this spare as you might have to apply the breaks yourself.

Peace of mind
A friend who owns a Kia electric got a flat on a Sunday. AAA was useless without a spare which most cars don't have any more. He ended up having to leave the car and come back Monday and have it towed. My Tesla has no spare and I took the lesson, get a spare and avoid a huge hassle if you get a flat. Kit has everything you need, tire, jack, etc. Takes up a fair amount of room in the trunk, but it's worth the peace of mind

Peace of mind/ high quality
The scissor jack surprised me with how sturdy it is. It is not a cheap flimsy scissor jack. I was worried using this with a heavy Tesla Model 3 (and because the minimum clearance on a flat tire wouldnt be enough) so I bought a super light all Aluminum racing jack to supplement but when I got it and tested it, as long as it fits, the scissor jack is actually pretty strong, relatively stable, and well built/heavy duty as scissor jacks go. The rest of the package is high quality as well. complete peace of mind. I keep it in the model 3 trunk and still have room for groceries although it gets a bit tight sometimes.
