Best hiking filter on the market for ease of use.Don’t worry about it leaking from where the cap screws into the bottle - just aim it diagonally at the bottle you want to fill and squeeze. Any unfiltered water that escapes will simply run off.Have had four filters over the last 10 years and used all over the world and never had a problem

Excellent concept product, lighter than stocking up with water to carry, all you need is a reasonable running water source to ensure the filter has maximum service life.

Saves a lot of money when travelling as don't have to pay for bottled water but a shame it cant be kept cold.

drank from river and stream no problems even if river was in flood so good i even drank tapwater after filtering through this

We've now used these water purifying bottles in Peru and Ethiopia, filling them from taps & streams wherever we go. Absolutely no tummy upsets as a result and saves a fortune on bottled water (not to mention plastic)! A brilliant product, highly recommended.

This is a tough one to review.On the one hand, it's fantastic - the bottle filters water from almost any source which has been enormously helpful whilst travelling; both for convenience and reducing plastic waste.On the other hand, it does leak when squeezed, just like other reviewers have said. I mean come on, really, how could they have missed such a massive flaw when manufacturing the product?Anyway, it's ok if you suck the water, but don't squeeze. For the price and for what it does, I'd still say it's a great product. It's early days though, let's see how long it lasts!
