UltrakSilent Count-Up/Down Vibrating Timer

Exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality, love the vibration feature because in the environment that I’m working in requires silence.

I really like this timer. Its simple and the buttons are covered by a sliding door which helps when I keep it in my pocket. I am a Highschool umpire and also do competitive tournaments and it works great. The only thing i wish is that the beeping would be louder.

I’ve recently started at a busy health clinic with very complicated patients. I was having trouble keeping on schedule. I don’t like wearing watches and don’t carry my cell phone with me when seeing patients. This allows me to set the timer and put in my pocket as I enter the room. It silently vibrates for 1 minute at preset time, then starts counting up. It keeps me on track, but also gives me an exact face-to-face time if I need it for billing (without the patient feeling that you are rushing or clock-watching). This is exactly what I needed! Someone else commented that it is too loud, but that’s only if you have on hard surface, like tabletop. I can’t really hear at all when it’s in pocket. Highly recommended.

While I love this timer's simplicity, accuracy, and vibration options, and I use it daily, there are a few functional problems. I have a job with kids and need a quiet timer to move from session to session on time. I also move around a lot for play therapy. Unfortunately, this timer falls off easily when "clipped" to my pants. I don't have pockets and avoid watches because they may scratch the infants. Since the clip doesn't work well, it's difficult to find a place to wear it. I have started wearing it in the inner, lower leg of my yoga pants, but it's bulky and sometimes uncomfortable. If the yoga pants aren't tight enough the timer falls out and the battery cover and button cover pops off. Lastly, the button cover comes off very easily in general handling and wearing.If they could make this so the button cover stays on securely and the timer stays clipped to pants, I would give this timer five stars. I have not found anything better and will use this until I do, but would not order more.

Only lasted a few months then dead. No change after battery swap.

At first, I wasn't sure I would like this product. I read reviews that were not very positive but, now that I've used it for a while, I am VERY pleased with this product.I have set it many times and it works fine. The "vibrate setting" functions very well and I like the compact size. It's also light-weight and won't add a burden to your backpack.It's not flashy but it will meet your need to be awaken in a room full of hikers without disturbing anyone else.Suggest you give it a try because I believe you will like it very much.Great job Amazing-zon. Apologies in advance for the life story. I kinda lost track and started rambling but I spent so long typing it that I didn't want to delete it. TLDR: This is a dang good timer and I recommend it, especially if you have trouble with focusing and/or need a silent alarm to keep on hand.I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD, neither of which go along well with my much loved profession of choice, gear hobbing. How is this information relevant? Because these little timers have been an absolute lifesaver (and possibly a career saver)! It's difficult for me to maintain focus on anything for long and easy to lose track of what I'm doing, so I use timers as check-ins to make sure I stay on track. This only works, however, if I can hear said-timer, which isn't an easy feat in a noisy machine shop. (What's worse, I'm the only one in my department, so there's no diffusion of responsibility.)So after trying multiple timers (including several phones, don't ask) I gave this one here a try. I bought two because I was worried that, with the sliding front, it would break fairly quickly (a fear soon realized when I dropped one on the second day of having it, snapping the front off and breaking its tabs). The beeping function is plenty loud enough in a home space or at my weekend delivery job, but it's definitely not enough to win out over the din of the machine shop, The vibrate function, however, is absolutely impossible to ignore, and is relentless. By relentless, I mean a common problem I have is ignoring alarms until they stop or peter out and this one just doesn't. It'll keep bugging the absolute tar out of your pocket until you reset it or its battery dies, the latter of which hasn't happened yet!Even though I'm still learning how to best utilize this new tool, I'm so happy to have discovered it and have already noticed a huge improvement in my productivity. I know this almost certainly wasn't its intended purpose, but it's truly perfect for this use!

I absolutely love this timer, and recently bought a second so I can have one at home and one at work. Vibration and being able to slip it in my pocket without accidentally pressing buttons are a godsend for the pomodoro technique and any other time I want a reminder that won't make a loud sound.I give it four stars for one reason - the default vibration makes way, way too much noise for a quiet-ish office. It's a lot louder than a vibrating phone, enough to turn heads.This turned out to be fixable though, by replacing one of the motor wires with a 10Ω resistor (see picture). Obviously not everyone has a soldering iron (or is comfortable using one), but if you do, this is about as quick and simple as it gets. With the resistor added the vibration is just right - strong enough that I always notice but soft enough to not distract my coworkers.
